great somewhat flexible glue
This a a somewhat flexible glue that works quite well for purposes thatinvolve vibration and/or a bit of flex. I've used it for everything from emergencyshoe repairs to gluing in replacement rechargeable batteries in wi-fi speakers. It is a medium strength glue and not at all brittle (like most high strength glues).Stinks when drying, but dries fully within a day or so.

Works on a lot of different materials
I've used this to attach a leather bellows to a photo enlarger and to reattach an insole into my loafer.100% success. This is the glue that glues everything the other glues won't glue.

The classic for camera leather
This isn't the strongest contact cement, but it does a good job of staying pliable over time. When I need it, I need it, and nothing else works quite right. Barge cement is the stronger bond, but it's harder. Other "rubber" or "contact" cements (like the stuff in the bottle with the brush) aren't durable enough. For a lot of applications, this is the Mama Bear "just right" adhesive. This is the one old camera repair folks use for gluing leather to camera bodies. I was advised to do this by gluing just the leather and then using it like a sticker on the frame to keep from gunking up the body for the next guy. On modern cameras, the rubber grips are held on with double sided tissue tape and this isn't as good for that. I tried it and I had to source the correct tissue tape and redo it. In this case, I had to get Pliobond for sticking the rubber grips back on a long zoom lens. This worked perfectly, even has the factory smell. Using the lens in the field, I forget that it came to me with the zoom grip rubber completely loose. The repair feels factory new. That's the kind of job that this adhesive excels at.

Works well for flexible surfaces.
I've used Pliobond for decades for jobs like fastening vinyl to a surface (metal or wood). Its always done the job in the past. Haven't tried it yet to refasten the vinyl cover on my bathroom scale. Use in a well ventilated area as I treat the fumes as toxic.
