Princess Paradise Baby/Toddler Deluxe Melvin The Monkey Costume, 6 to 12 Months

I bought this for my 4 1/2 month old son's first Halloween & it was super adorable on! It's well made & just as cute as the picture.. I loved how the belly is stuffed & the head piece is separate making it easy to get on & off.. I live in WA so it kept his head warm.. It's super cute even though I had to put pants & a long sleeve shirt on (all brown matches well) I got a lot of compliments.. After reading other reviews saying it ran small I got the 6/12 month.. It fit perfect, my son's tall so it just hugged his bottom.. Definitely go bigger than their age!!

I still like this costume even though my baby didn't even wear it for Halloween! The construction and materials are of very good quality and it's suuuuper cute. I made the mistake of buying this costume (6-12 month size) a month in advance not realizing how fast my baby was going to grow! He was 9 months when I ordered it and then at 10 months for Halloween, he had outgrown the outfit! So, yeah, buy a size up.

I ordered this costume for my 23 month old daughter. I was concerned with the sizing when I ordered it since it covered such a broad range (18 months -2t). The costume fits her perfectly. She weighs about 27 pounds and is a very average size toddler. I like this costume because it goes over the head and has elastic at the bottom instead of onesie snaps or being a full suit. I plan to put brown leggings underneath it and either a short sleeve or long sleeve brown t shirt depending on the weather. I am so pleased with the quality of this costume! It is adorable and reasonably priced. As a bonus, the monkey hat isn't attached to the costume so my daughter can have lots of fun wearing it all year! My last thought on sizing - My daughter is close to two and this costume is a perfect fit. If you have an 18 month old on the petite or short side you might consider going down one size. Definitely recommend this!

Adorable! The body of the costume is actually much less poofy than in the product photo (perhaps a bit of extra padding there!) but it works out for the best, as he'd never fit in the car seat otherwise. The headpiece is separate as well, which makes it nice for wearing on non-costume days.

My son is 4 month old and I bought 6 month size because he has a big head. It turned out I was right. It's still a little bit tight to put it on because their is only one open at one side of the neck. The costume is chubby and thick so it's kind of hard to put on. It's soft and very warm but with no limbs. The hat is separate and fits okay. But the ears are floppy and can't stand like the picture shows. My son looks cute in it but can not last longer than 10 minutes. He cried to pull the hat and scratched his face...

Not as puffy as picture and too small

Perfect costume! My son was adorable this Halloween. He is a year old, but on the small side. This fit just right. We put on some brown pants and a long sleeve brown shirt under it. He still wears his monkey hat around the house.
