Once again in the interest of honesty. This game was provided to me by Moody Macaw for the purposes of this review. So I would like to thank them for this opportunity.Ok on to the game. Make & Break is a trick taking game based on relationships. May they be Straight, Bi, or Gay/Lesbian. Straight couples are worth 10 points, Gay/Lesbian are worth 20 points. You get bonus points for playing marriage cards and children cards on your couples. The game ends when a player arrives at the agreed upon score. The instructions pamphlet lists scores suggested by player count but you can really play as long as you like. Now the game is slightly deeper than it sounds. There is a take that element in this game. You can play cards that break up couples allowing you to steal the points. You may also only play one card on your turn. Unless you are playing a couple. The only time your couples are permanently safe is if you play a happily married card on them. Otherwise you risk other players using the separation cards to break up or steal parts of your couples. The game is simple, quick, and most importantly fun.So the question that matters most. Did we enjoy it? Yes we did and that was surprising. Let me tell you why. The first thing I noticed was the theme. Now when I first saw this and read the rules I must admit I had reservations. Now I have never had a game’s theme bother me and this one didn’t either. However I wanted to point out that relationships can be a touchy subject. I also realize that scoring points based on sexuality and using cards to break up said relationships can be taken the wrong way. I decided at the end of the day however that it is indeed just a game and a fun one at that. Now the other thing that had me nervous about this game was component quality. The game is printed on standard playing card stock and the box feels very cheap. This is not really an issue however as the game is about $8 dollars on amazon. I usually do not talk price but in this case it is an important factor when talking about material quality. The good news is they managed to work some fun magic out of such a tiny box. This games mechanics aren’t anything revolutionary but they don’t have to be in order for the game to be fun. This made a great little party game for my brother and his girlfriend to play with me. Other than component quality there is not anything to complain about here. I did note one thing however. The female straight and Bi cards are shown in the instructions with a large female symbol and small male. All the female cards in my deck (lesbian excluded) were printed with large male and small female symbols. That is not a major issue but does seem to be an issue with the printing.In closing I would just like to say that as a small party game this is a pretty good time. It is not revolutionary and does not do anything truly unique mechanically however it does not have to be in order to be fun. It also feels somewhat lacking in component quality but as stated before it is priced accordingly. We give it a solid 7. My friends and I love playing board/card games and this was a HIT amongst us! A very different game that requires strategising to increase your score and undercut opponents' is sure be a hit at night outs. The rule book is very clear and may be needed for first couple of rounds and then the game gets addictive super fast. The best part is the 'coin toss' (you'll know when you play!!). Loved the game...would definitely recommend to young adults.

A super fun game!! It might take few rounds to get a hang of it but you'll definitely get hooked on to it soon. The game is funny and it will make you laugh. Its very enjoyable. Loved the game... loved the theme! Totally recommended for young adults.The production quality of the cards is also good. Loved all the card figures.

A card game for the yougsters...it breaks the stereotype... M playing such a game for the first time..i just enjoy playing it everytime. Best part is u can enjoy it in a small and large group both.. Its a big hit already with my people here..easy to learn n fun to play... Kudos to the inventors.Shruti sharma...

Easy fun game however I think there was a printing error because the female symbols on here are actually male symbols lol made it a little confusing!

This is an engaging and fast-moving card game with a lot of twists. The game is easy to understand and keeping scores is also very straightforward. It is a fun card game and would be a definite winner at small gatherings!

Super fun and light-hearted game to enjoy with a group of friends. The game rules are very well explained. Great fun for youngsters.. lot of laughs and interesting twists! Definitely worth it!

Make & Break is a great game if you are looking for a hilarious lighthearted game to play with friends. Warning: This game may not be for people with going through tough actual relationships... this game is about making relationships and destroying them with a sense of humor! Our group loved creating back stories for our couples and destroying each others' happily ever after.

We played this game with different people and few liked to the extent that they bought it and few dint like it at all..I am a game geek and have more than 50 board and card games some of which my friends find more interesting may be that is the reason they dint like this one but I must say it very different and I liked it.I personally would have given 4 stars but overall as per my groups opinion its a 3..

Surprisingly great game 😂 It lasts 15-20mins between 5 people. A great game, it's quite underrated honestly. The next must have game after Monopoly deal ❤️The rules are scary but very basic and easy to learn once you get the hang of it. Great game, go for it!

Received the product today. The delivery was smooth. No complaints about that. Product is also very good. Couldn't find any flaws. However, there's this powder-y thing I found on the surface of the cards which is a little weird (though it eventually goes away due to continuous contact with hands). The pictures are printed well. Came with a very well-explained instruction manual.The game is very much enjoyable! Inclusion of different sexual orientations just adds to the fun and magic of it! Great game to spend time playing with! Go for it.

Played it for hours with friends and family. It's a very unique game. Definitely give it a try. Packing was good. Also the print quality. Rules are easy to understand.

Pretty cool and fun. It make take a couple of rounds for you to get the hang of it but once you get the game mechanics you are set to have nons top fun for hours. The first time we played it staright for 4 hours.

Good game for adults. Making pairs is a bit tricky and confusing with bisexuals (may be its coz I'm straight) :)But good fun. Need to get used to the rules in order to enjoy completely.

I will definitely recommend this game to young/adult people. The idea behind this playing card game is unique and it will definitely differentiates from other playing card games. Be open minded, relax & chill and enjoy game but don't take it seriously in your life so just play for fun.
