Worked well on my 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5
Worked well on my 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5. Seems to have reduced oil consumption by a small amount. My old one was full of gunk and wouldn't move even after cleaning it out, just stuck open.

Fit 2009 Subaru Forester
OEM part was perfect fit for my 2009 Subaru Forester. Part arrived very fast and was sealed in original packaging. Note that the pcv hose split where it connects to the pcv valve when I removed it from the old pcv valve so I had to get a new hose. If you have an older car like mine you may want to just get a new hose just in case. As for this pcv valve, highly recommend it.

Factory Part
High quality factory part. Fits perfectly and works great. Be sure to change the hose as the heat has made it stiff and brittle.

Appears OEM. Works on a 2006 Outback.
Appears OEM for a 2006 Outback 2.5i. Much different than the aftermarket Microgard one I took out that the previous owner installed. Good price compared to dealer/elsewhere online.

So far, so good. Direct OEM replacement.
I bought my 2009 Forester used with 187,000 miles on it in 2024. The seller reported is was "burning some oil" and there was a layer of oil coating the underside of the car from leaks running below the engine and dripping on the exhaust causing the smell of burning oil inside the car. I knew that stuck PCV valves can build up crankcase pressure leading to oil pushing pass piston rings (the burning) and could cause leaks from seals and gaskets from the increased oil pressure inside the engine (and not the combustion chamber). The PCV valve on the car was dirty and looked original and I figured it needed replacement. After taking it out, it did not "rattle" like a good one should if the valve was operational. Replacing it with this new one seems to have all but eliminated the oil burning and the leak below has slowed to a quarter-sized overnight drip on the driveway. I am still working to clean things up, but this PCV valve was likely a main culprit all along.
