poorly molded plastic, hinges arent correct size so you have to drill them out :(
I am pretty frustrated. Tore down my old DS to put this new shell on it and the very first step to putting the old guts in the new shell and it doesn't fit right. I got everything torn down on this table in front of me and now I have to leave it here while I return this hunk of junk and get a better quality one. I'm not even going to try to assemble the rest. If the first step is this bad I'm certain the rest will follow suit. It's a shame people have no concern for quality and are just looking for a quick buck. A SHAME!!!!

Ok for DIYers
Fitment is so-so like others mentioned, some parts need shaving, missing screws. Works ok (better than a broken shell), but can't recommend to folks getting into hobbying.

Poor tolerance - Would bend the board
Similar problem with the other bad reviews, especially the metal tube for the flex cable would not fit the new shell. I hope I read the reviews first.

Clear Case
The material is very cheap. I had to reuse some old parts to make the case work. I bought it to see the hardware. I would not recommend this product if your intent is to restore a ds. Also know what your doing 👍
