I love this! Every time I make mashed potatoes they are cold by the time we sit down to eat. The first time I used this was Thanksgiving and I made the potatoes about 20 minutes before we sat down. They stayed piping hot all through dinner even when we cleaned up. **note. Always fill the stainless bowl with super hot water first and let it sit for a few minutes. Then empty, dry and put food in. Close and lock lid tightly!

Every thing were fine, size, cleaning, looks ok, received in few day. i understand this is import form India, so i have to more money then i could buy in India. but overall good,

I bought this to take food to a small group we attend where we have potluck dinners. It works great! Just pour really hot water in to warm up before I put food in, drain it and wipe out, and then put the food in. People at first thought I was bringing a crock pot to keep my dish warm in! It is important to fill the dish so because I sometimes take smaller dishes, I asked for the 2.5 qt size for Mother's day. So glad I got this - while not totally spill proof (like if it would tip over), still bounces in the car as we travel does not cause sloshing over like with crock pots.

The lid doesn’t sit on the pot. I didn’t use it in a timely manner, so outside the window to return.I would have returned because of the lid. It causes a gap causing the heat or cool to escape.Do not like the product. Cheaply made

it is made out of cheap materials. i wont be surprised if inner metal lining will rust in few months. i will post update if it does. as far as insulation is concerned, i poured boiling water in to the hot-pot, closed the lid and checked for heat loss by feeling the temperature of the outer surface of the pot. surprisingly there wasn't much, after 3 hours water was still hot, though not as hot as i had poured it. i think it will keep food warn for good length of time, you just have to live with its cheap looks.

It’s amazing and keep chapati warm and fresh. By mistake I bought 3.5 liters so it’s a big one. But still it’s good for keeping big size pranthas. You can easily keep 30-40 chapatis at one time in 3.5 liters box.
