The gloves are very well made. The leather is pretty soft the insulation is nice. The fit is exactly as the guidelines recommend. So far they are excellent but I haven't used them long. I hope they last as advertised Would highly recommend.

I ordered these gloves not expecting much. I have purchased three other pairs by other manufacturers, and was not happy with any of them. Each barely lasted one year. One about three months. I only use the gloves when needed around the back yard. I don't do construction. We camp a lot. My wife and I went for the last week of August. I brought the gloves. They were great! Chopping wood, making feather-sticks, batoning wood, anything that needed doing. I even moved logs around in the fire all the time. The gloves are not fireproof, so I felt some heat after a few seconds, but they are not rated for high fire resistance. My hands were well protected. The gloves have yet to show any wear or seam rips. The fits is perfect for me. I wear size 8 gloves, so I ordered the medium size. They fit great. The lining is comfortable too. Obviously, I am a big fan of these gloves. They work very well. They fit properly. They are durable. Buy some!

I purchased these gloves for use in a manufacturing machine shop. It would be nice to not require more than 3-4 pair a year. The price seems right for the materials used. It is difficult to for me to consistently find gloves of this quality at local stores. For everyday use I am prepared to pay a reasonable premium for quality materials and workmanship, which these gloves represent. The leather, fabric lining, and stitching are nicely done. I was concerned about them being too hot, I don't like working with sweaty hands. The straitjacket gloves provided at work have fabric and rubber components, no liner, cause my hands to sweat, wrinkle, and fatigue which is a complete no-go. The lining for these gloves is more about cut protection than warmth. Some tack-welding/rearrangement and temporary handling of heated work is required and these perform well with temperatures ranging to 400F without discomfort. Medium size fits well. The lining and the leather fit well on my fingers as I can pick up screws, use hand tools, etc. without hand fatigue. I have had new gloves that never fit well with prolonged use. Some reviewers said the lining is too short. I have not experienced anything unusual about these and that would be a deal-breaker. As leather tends to draw and conform with use, the fit is actually improving and I am pleased with this. I don't misapply them for unintended applications or abuse them, and I dry and wipe them off with shop towels as required to extend their wear.
