Waiting in Wonder: Growing in Faith While You're Expecting (A Pregnancy Memory Book, Devotional, and Journal) – The Perfect Christian Baby Shower Gift for Expectant Moms Review: Wonderful, useful book! - This is a beautiful book! It is evident how much of the author's love, intelligence, tears, humility, grace, and faith have gone into the "birthing" of this book. It is a perfect mix of factual information about the growth of your baby, scripture and reflections to encourage you in your pregnancy and your relationship with Christ, blank spaces for writing your thoughts and feelings, and portions of God's word to memorize. It is also so easy to use! What expectant mother has hours to try to sit down and figure out a complicated devotional? This one is laid out to be as useful and "user friendly" as possible. A first time expectant mother or a woman expecting child number four, five, etc will be equally blessed by this book! As a mother of seven, I see how encouraging, personal, and perfect this devotional is for the expectant mother! Buy one today for yourself or for someone you know who is expecting! Review: Worth Every Penny! - This book was recommended to me and I love it! It offers prompts for prayers, stories, thoughts, and much more. I really like that it has only 4 or so sections for each week - this has provided me flexibility to write on days that work well for me rather than the impossible of everyday. I also like the memory verses and the pregnancy milestone information. I really hope our baby treasures this and finds joy in knowing that he or she was loved and wanted from the very beginning. As Christian parents, my husband and I plan to set an example with our faith. This book gives me a chance to make my faith even stronger before baby arrives and helps make the wait a little easier especially after suffering losses before this pregnancy. This baby is a true testimony for me I'm so thankful to have been told about this wonderful book so that he or she can one day look back at this and believe in miracles!!

Best pregnancy devo out there
I have searched for the perfect pregnancy devotional and THIS IS IT!!! I’m blown away with how much I love it! This is my second pregnancy and I just love how each week incorporates the physical updates that are occurring with baby and myself, and then how the author relates those into ways I can pray for baby spiritually. For example, one week it highlighted babies heart growth and then encouraged me to pray that babies heart would be soft early on for the Lord and His word. I love that there is a devo for nearly every day of the week (5 devos and then the weekly update/prayer points) so it is something to look forward to but also completely manageable and not over whelming at all. I can not say enough how much I love the thoughtfulness that this devo was created with. LOVE IT. It also allows for me to journal pregnancy milestones and moments too for future reflection.

Wonderful devotional, great for prayerful journaling
I have thoroughly enjoyed going through this devotional while I have been pregnant. My only regret with it is not getting it sooner! This book starts at week 5 and goes through week 40 of pregnancy. I am not good at journaling on my own, so this has been such a blessing. I've loved spending quiet time with God and journaling through this time of waiting for my baby to arrive. I look forward to finishing it out and I would recommend it to any expectant mothers wanting to draw closer to God while waiting for their little one!

Felt God working in me and my baby on every page
Such an enriching devotional during my first pregnancy. The content was very palatable and I rarely got behind. I loved prayer prompts for my growing baby, milestones noted during growth, and thoughtful questions as I look into motherhood. I also decided to also use it as a memory book and wrote stories from my pregnancy throughout the pages including sonograms and pictures. God definitely spoke to me through Catherine Claire Larson during this season. I plan to buy this for any expecting Christian mom in my life moving forward!

Great Option for Mommys to Be who love Jesus!
I love the integration of God into descriptions found from What to expect. I love that they offer prayer topics and discussion topics with spouse. I would like there to be more scripture emphasis, but overall this is a great journal for any Godly mom to be and helps alleviate fear and worry for sure as well as strengthen bonds with your spouse.

Seriously the best devotional
I have never been a regular devotional girl. But when I got pregnant with our son, I knew I needed something to help guide my heart towards God, rather than just focusing on preparing all the physical things that a baby needs. This book has been an answer to prayer!! I love that there are not devotionals every day, just most days of the week, as I'm not the best at this habit yet. No guilt, just benefit! I also love the content just so, so much. The author weaves the physical things you experience as an expecting momma with spirituality somehow in such a beautiful way. It really points you back to the Lord, gently, and has helped me view the amazing spiritual side of pregnancy, that many of my mom friends don't even think about! But I think my favorite part is that you also usually have space to journal a response to God, or to take a note about your thoughts, and then to write a prayer for your baby or a letter to them, every day. This small journaling response is what is so helpful for me, as I meditate on the scripture and topic written for each day. I love this devotional and will be buying it for every married, Christian momma I know!! (it does address your marriage a lot, which I love, but wouldn't be as helpful or encouraging for a single momma)

Perfect book for expecting moms
This book has been great for me. I use it at night before I go to bed to wind down. It's really sweet and I like that you can write little messages to the baby. In the beginning of my pregnancy, it helped me stay calm and not worry so much. Just helped to remember God is always in control. ❤️ I definitely recommend

Im very pleased with the book. It became my daily devotional journal that helped me through my pregnancy until birth. It helped me strengthen my faith, be thankful of all the blessings, and to look forward in the future with courage. The daily verses and reflections became the source of my encouragement. Im totally recommending this book to buy as a present or personal journal during pregnancy.

There were lovely aspects to this book and journal! Given the title is about growing in faith and wonder, I don't find that it inspired that as much as I would have liked. I think the medical community take away from the wonder of pregnancy and birth, with perpetuating fear and worry at every appointment - so we really need journals for women that hone in on wonder and faith.

A friend gave me this when I was expecting so I bought one for her when she got pregnant again. This new cover is better than the one I got but still the good hard cover material. I love the new inside appearance but the content is the same one I love. Would probably buy this again when I get pregnant.

This was such a sweet way to pray for our child before becoming parents. Loved it!

I'm not really great at journaling but I wanted to have something to record my experiences with my first pregnancy and this was SO GREAT. I loved how it was set up and the writing prompts were a wonderful way for me to think about what I was experiencing. I plan on keeping this to give to my daughter when she has her first baby.
