This works!
This really works!! For reading/studying and annotating, it’s great! It really makes it easy to take notes. I can read/work longer because I can select the perfect angle my reading. No way did I think I would like this s much as I do! I’m really having a WOW moment with this book stand! This is not wood, like bamboo, it seems to be some kind of covered pressboard. It’s still very worth getting. The product description does claim it to be solid wood. I still like it!!!!!Finally, I really like the page-holding arms. They are not bulky and have great holding power without be too strong. Finally, finally, I have “O103 (16.02 x 10.43 x 0.35”, the largest one. This is a great size for regular-sized hardback. The page arms are long enough for smaller books too.

Good basic book holder
I have two of these now, one small and one large. Both work great. You can adjust the angle over a large range, even change it on the fly, and the page holders are easy to set. Perfect for reading.

Just buy this
I had bought 2 stands. one was the most popular one in canada and this one. This one is so much better for about the same price. very high quality, there are pads so it doesnt slip when u right. good size, very adjustable. the most popular one which is made out of bambo is smaller slides when u right, has a worse book stop (thing at the bottom) and is lower quality in every way. just buy this one. i think they are about the same price after tax.

Indispensable item -- books, laptops, tablets
Rugged, easy to use, adjustable and stable. Great item to prop up laptop and reduce stress in hinges.

Polished, and strong
I have experienced dozens of book stands, and this one is outstanding.Every edge, surface, and corner of the wood is very polished. There is no scratch on my fingers when I slide them through this lovely stand. The stand is very wide, big, and strong. It can easily bear the Oxford Dictionary of English, which is a very big and heavy book. Also, this stand gives various options for the angle. The automatic folding string makes controlling these angles even better.Just buy it. I love this stand so much! After using this for several weeks, I bought it again! Still love it!

Rat Trap Page Holders
This works great at holding my large omnibus when reading so far. The best feature is that the ledge that the book rests on locks in place. So it won't flop around if there isn't a book attached. It takes a minute to figure out the lock/unlock movements but isn't much of a problem after that. There are also plastic stoppers all around the stand so it won't move under weight easily or at all. Many others I've seen/used didn't have these features built in. Although the height adjuster is made of a similar hard plastic and it did slide out of position when lifted but this item will only be used stationary. My one big gripe is the plastic page holder/grip. On initial testing, I placed about 75 pages underneath the left holder. When turning and coming back to that page, it had moved and created a noticeable bend on multiple pages. Even on the bare bookend it slid back and forth placing more pressure on the spine. I will definitely not be using those but everything else was good.
