Love it
Definitely a top quality bar. It’s worth way more than the price. It’s heavy and sturdy, great for my workouts. I have to get smaller spring clips so the plates stay on without falling off. Wouldn’t trade it, it’s solid.

Sturdy + Spacesaving
Simple and straightforward:1. SPACESAVING: The 6ft length makes it possible for me to lift in my tiny basement with enough room between (squat) stands. My space can’t accommodate a 7ft bar.2. STURDY: Early in COVID, I committed to standard size plates (i.e. 1-1.5” holes) - they and standard DBs were all I could get. Later I was able to get a “collapsible” barbell bar. Good for lighter weights but I wanted to get back to the heavier sets I had been working on in the gym. Along came this bar. Here’s my experience on the heaviest I’m capable of right now:FLAT CHEST PRESS - takes the 250# I am up to like a champ. No bending problems. Yes the smaller circumference of the bar vs an Olympic 2” is noticeable. But it’s been nearly a year since I’ve been to my gym, so you get used to it.SQUATS - it starts bending a bit at 270# and above. By the time I get to 325 or so it’s noticeable, but I’ve never felt unsafe even getting towards 350. My workout space and squat stands require careful racking, so it doesn’t get thrown around. Again, the circumference of the bar feels different from a 2” bar, but you could use a pad or something. I’ve gotten used to it so I don’t.DEADLIFTS: of course it bends when I get up beyond 320 and certainly up to 400. Given the width of a deadlift grip, it’s less noticeable than in the squat. I still feel comfortable with it. Lastly, even after those heavier sessions, it doesn’t stay bent.SUMMARY: probably not a powerlifting bar, but for a regular guy or gal’s desire for some heavier lifts in a limited space and on a limited budget, this works very well.

Great barbell!
I really like this bar and it's well made. The gnurling is just right in the sense that it's not too rough, nor is it too shallow like on cheaper bars. What I really like are the grip markings (gnurl rings) on this bar which you don't see often on 1" bars. This is really a classy and "professional" bar, meaning that it's not cheap looking or cheap feeling....it's SOLID. I would be confident loading up this bar much more than the $40 barbell I bought from another manufacturer. The gnurling and rings are actually better than what I've seen on some Olympic bars and I've been lifting for over 50 years. Get some quality collars for this bar and you'll have a really good set up.

1" clips do not fit
Great quality at an affordable price. The only issue is that 1" clips do not fit, the bar is slightly smaller in diameter so I am on the hunt now for appropriately sized clips.

replaces cheap plastic bar in set I bought on line
I got a weight set on line (not Amazon) and it was cheap. With 60 pounds on the bar it was bending. Not safe. I went here to Amazon and got this steel bar. It won't bend in the least. Much safer.

Very poor quality control and inaccurately dangerous
Extremely dangerous, advertised to be 0.97" but is probably closer to .75". Plates are so loose that no clips will work and nothing else was included with the bar . With how loose the plates are and how inaccurate and poor quality it is it isn't safe to use.knurling is shaved off in spots like accidentally got hit by a grinder. I didn't expect the bar to actually be the advertised 700lbs but it bends at 200. If it was close to 1 inch diameter it would be usable but this is an injury just waiting to happen. It seems like quality control is a huge issue as well , poor shipping methods in a fragile cardboard tube . They either produce these and don't do safety/quality checks at all or it gets damaged in shipping due to poor bare packaging

Excellent bar for bench press, squat, shoulder presses, landmines and more
The bar is sturdy and solid. The 7' length is great for so many things. Presses, squats, landmine exercises. It weighs about 18lbs, so it's solid. I keep a tennis ball on the end to protect my wall for storage. It works perfectly with Dualbell and dumbbells on the ends for strength training. Sleeve length, which is important to me, is good, as is the center width for your hand placement. If you are considering this bar, and it has the features and dimensions you need, don't feel like you have to spend more to get a quality bar. This is a quality bar.

Great bar for a low price.
The bar has some weight to it. I put it on a scale and it weighs 12.4 lbs. It has rough texture for a better grip. Awesome upgrade from using a curved light bar. I had been using. Which felt like I was going to take the bar to the face from my wrist curving and no grip. This bar is WAY better.

Good bar
It’s a good bar. Cost is ok. I have had it for 10 month. Very small bend. Most I normally squat or bench is just over 200lbs.

No quality control.
What a piece of sh-it.I'd give a fraction of a star if possible.I'm a long standing customer. Purchased many thousands of $$$ of items from Amazon. Written a lot of stellar reviews of their products. Generally I'm a very satisfied customer.Don't normally write bad reviews but for this item, I am compelled to do so.No quality control or the Quality Control department was off sick the day this thing was fabricated:Purchased this as a repackaged item.Took delivery and one of the collars, the steel ring that keeps the weight from sliding along the handle is missing. It came from the factory like this.Spring clips that I use on other bar bells I own to keep the weights from sliding off, are too big. I used some nylon retention clips that I have and they're too big as well. No wonder the first customer returned this item for refund. The factory missed it completely, andAmazon repackaging missed it.Amazon:Please don't repackage and sell this item to another unsuspecting customer.Kindest regards.

Nice product
This product is quite nice. I haven’t tried very heavy weight but it has held out pretty good. It is long and has nice grip. It fits really good with my weights too.
