Phone Is for Asia/Pacific Region and will NOT be Covered by Asus Warranty if You Live Elsewhere
This phone's description states global and while you can activate it globally, the ROM installed on the phone is Asia/Pacific region. My phone's back lighting doesn't work and I don't get the same options I should be seeing according to Asus support because of this reason. The standard 1 year warranty does not apply to me so I can't get any further support from them, nor will this retailer let me return it to them.
