Good for a quick prank
These are OK for a quick gag or prank. They look like a normal pen. When you try to click the top to pop out the writing part you get a little shock. It's not very strong, but strong enough to be mildly uncomfortable and make you want to put it down. I think it would've been better if it actually did work as a pen, but it doesn't.

Not strong!!
The build quality is very poor plastic. It took 3 clicks to feel the shock and it was enough to withstand. If you want to get a reaction from your friends, this is NOT it.

Product defect
So far I have received 4 pens and none will work. Maybe it would help if pens are checked to make sure they are functional before shipping. I just ordered a pack of LC41 batteries to see if I can get them to work.
