Dorman 926-369 HVAC Humidity Sensor Compatible with Select Models

My 2013 Chrysler 300C wouldn't cool down no matter what the a/c was set on. Noticed the recirculation button wouldn't come on or stay on when selected. Replacing this humidity sensor did the trick.Perfect fit and easy install. It is on the windshield next to where your rear view mirror attaches. Pop off the cover, unplug one pin connector wire, pop out old sensor, pop in new sensor, plug back in, and pop cover back on. Saved a $100...that's if your shop got diag. right the first time. Could save several hundred $$$. You can do it yourself!!!

This replacement works on a 2014 Maserati Ghibli SQ4 also no more P1009 Faults works perfectly.

This works, easy to install. I used alfaobd to connect to hvac module to erase stored codes. Ran the test and my fault is gone. Although my recirculation button works when AC is on even with my old sensor, I thought this would fix the recirculation button not engaging in AUTO, however, the HVAC system it's programmed that way. UPDATE 4TH JUNE 2025. Stopped working, no communication

2 decade plus mechanic reporting in. I usually have good luck with dorman products and this one did not miss. I had the loss of communication with humidity sensor code and this part fixed it. Not much else to say other than be careful with the mounting bracket on the window because breaking it means you need a new window to fix the broken bracket. Not a hard job but a relatively big risk for the DIY types.

10 stars if I could. Took five minutes to put on. The air recirulating button hasn't worked in my car for over a year. Made the a/c not work well when hot and humid, and it's very hot and humid here in the Mid-South. Finally found a video, it's a common problem on my car and a simple fix, a humidity sensor. I have a 2013 Dodge Charger, found this Dorman Brand part on Amazon, which was way cheaper than the orginal. It fixed my problem and my A/C is working better than ever. I couldn't be happier. My car gets so cold my glasses fog up when I get out of my car. So if this part fits your car, don't hesitate. 20 stars!!!

I did not know I had a humidity sensor in my Dodge Ram Truck, until I had the windshield replaced. I asked the Tech, "What is that box for." "It is a humidity sensor." OK, so I forgot about it until I needed my OBDII scanner, to program a new key-fob. The scanner ran a diagnostic, and threw a code for: "Bad Humidity Sensor" I cleared the code, and restarted the diagnostic, same thing, bad sensor. Decided to replace it, since it was an easy fix. This was the less expensive option. After installing it, I cleared the diagnostic error code, and it did not come back. Researched what the thing, sensor, does. If the humidity increases in the cab, the computer opens the outside air inlet to give you more outside air. In the dessert Southwest, that makes sense, In Texas , Florida, Missouri, Iowa, it makes no sense. My guess is, it has more to do with running the air conditioner less, to get a little better mileage. Hope so, I could use better mileage.

My recirculation wouldn't work without replacing this part.Funny thing is my mechanic had no idea.

Could not get the max A/C to stay on in my Charger. This would happen when the car sat out in the Sun. Replaced this Humidity sensor on the Windshield and all was well once again. Perfect / exact fit.
