Promark F5AFG FireGrain Forward 5A Drumsticks, Acorn Tip

These are hands down the best sticks I have ever had the honor of playing with! They are light and sturdy and the forward balance provides a noticable edge to my speed when playing a an up-tempo song or blasting through a fill. I primarily play worship music and our church has a very expensive electric Roland kit. these do AMAZING on it! Id love to take them to an acoustic kit and try them out. based on the play-ability of on the electric kit these seem like they would absolutely rock the house! The grain is amazing, the finish is spectacular and the grip is the best I've held in ANY stick! What you need to know? BUY THESE!This is a purchased item at full price and this is a fair and unbiased review!

Great sticks 💯 I’m a Vic Firth guy myself, but I decided to give these a shot because I’ve heard a lot of positive feed back. So far I really like these sticks. Very comfortable to play with. Durability is great, and my drum fills sound smooth with these sticks. I wish they were longer though. Like the Vic Firth freestyle sticks. Those are my stick of choice, but these are also great 👍

These are hands down the most durable sticks i have ever used, and i usually play a little hard. They dent, not shatter like your typical sticks. Feels good on the hands, and luckily i haven't gotten blisters with them. Definitely get a pair and try them out! Perfect for any type of music, i play Rock, reggae, and cumbia.

I came from Vic Firth 5B Extremes, making the transition to these did take some time, because of the weight shift. The weight being more shifted twards the front of the stick and not in the back or an even weighted stick. I got these sticks almost a month or so ago and they're still holding strong, a lot of chipping from the sticks themselves but they're still holding strong. The feel of the Firegrain heat treating process feels so comfortable in my hands, that when I pick up a pair I know that even with the forward balance of the stick I know that I can hold on to it firmly or lightly and know that the stick wont fly out. Tried it with the regular Hickory and I've had them fly out of my hand. All in all I am still really enjoying these sticks and plan to get more in the future. I actually bought these for a friend. I made him a stumpf fiddle and I wanted a striker that matched the wood finish of the fiddle. These are perfect for that.

I’ve own the same two pairs for about 3 months now. Mainly for practice. Haven’t broke yet. I think they use Dragons Breath to wood burn them. It only makes sense

Not worth the extra dough

Really great feel, like another buyer said they feel a little heavier than normal 5a's to me. I purchased classic, forward and rebound but was sent two pairs of forward instead of the rebound so I was a little annoyed. Nevertheless, great sticks, great durability and control. Just wish I got what I paid and waited for.
