Part was shipped quickly.

This part fixed the climate control on our 1999 Toyota Camry. We are now able to change settings to direct the heat or air where we want it. New part lined right up and worked as soon as I ran through all the different settings.

I took the OEM unit out, opened it & re-greased, tested motor with a 9V battery. Everything worked. Put it back in the car ... it did not work ...... circuit board must be bad. Bought this unit and installed and it has worked fine. Time will tell if it will hold up. Easiest install on a Camry is to remove the front seat. It made it much easier.

Our 98 Camry windshield was fogging up in rainy weather and no air was blowing out the windshield vent in defrost mode. The airflow would not switch from one vent to another. A quick google search suggested that the blend door vent actuator was bad. A youtube video helped me locate it and it was definitely not working. I found this replacement part on Amazon and changed it out. Now the vent switch works like a charm and the defrost function works like normal. As other reviews have mentioned, it is difficult to access the actuator. I had to lean the driver seat all the way back and lay down with my head in the footwell and my feet on the head rest.

This part is moderately difficult to install. The seller might want to include instructions, because it is easy to make serious mistakes with this install. Worked well once it was in. Took about three hours.
