Horse barn indoor riding arena.
I was looking for an energy efficient, dust proof, bright light, easy to install and able to stay lite in MN winter weather for an indoor horse riding arena. Thus far its been -2 and no issues. They light up right away and no warm up. I am in love with these lights. I need several more as my arena is huge. The boarders were in love just from 4 lights we put in the arena. My husband loved how easy they were to install and the hanging hook was his favorite thing. I like how these will reduce my electric bill and I will not have to change light bulbs. My current light were $40 for one bulb and they suck electricity bill. The estimate hours of these lights will last me for years i hope. I never write reviews but i searched threw so many lights and reading reviews i had to write one for other people. They also look nice. I had mine in for 8 weeks. I pray to have them for years especially because I need so many.

VERY IMPRESSED
I did not install these myself, but had an electrician do so. His report was that they were easy to install. However, as to the brightness, they are exactly what I wanted and then some. Very bright -- they do an excellent job. I look to reviews to help me make my final decision -- if you want some lights that are bright, I purchased "8" for my 25' X 60' section of my facility and they do the job. Very pleased. Plus my ceiling height is 19'.

Amazingly Bright
I replaced old high bay lights there were nearly kaputt. They were direct wired into a metal junction box, so I had to rewire them for an outlet. After that, it was merely plug and play (throw the switch). The brightness immediately lit up the entire shop. My only issue was that it came with the safety wire as pictured and advertised, but no screw or other means to attach it to the light assembly. There are two screw holes in the top of the assembly, but no screw came with the product -- and no other way to attach it. BUT.... I still give them 5 stars. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love these lights
It only took 3 of the lowest wattage units to fully light my 30x50 garage with 12 foot ceilings. The quality of the light fill is fantastic. It floods the garage with light. It's not a spot light. I would happily repurchase these units and I'm going to use them for my barn.

Super bright!
Hung a set of four in my hanger and they are fantastic. Very happy

Crazy bright, easy to install, seem very reliable, but can make you go snow blind
Extremely bright, easy to install, automatically senses input voltage so no need to do any wiring. However, they are painfully bright in a low-bay setting. Literally, everyone had to wear baseball caps with bills to keep from going blind. Ultimately we took the diffusers off of the Metal Halide lamps these replaced and hung them from wires about 6" below the LED array. That helped a LOT. Super, ultra bright. Seriously, hurt-your-eyes bright. They light up the machine shop like the surface of the sun and the large diameter LED arrays keeps the shadows from being overly sharp. Really like them but they really need a Freznel type diffuser. Or something.

These ARE BRIGHT AF
You see the photos attached with this product and it is genuinely hard to capture how bright they actually are in a picture. Let me just say, I am glad I went with the 150W instead of the 200. Holy. Balls. These things are as bright as the surface of the sun. You can not look directly at them without causing temporary blindness. I put them in a 40 by 60 shop, hanging 25ish feet high. Come in a 4 pack, literally could only use 2. Please do not misinterpret what I am saying. These things are BRIGHT. The description says UFO and let me tell you, that is accurate because you literally feel like a spaceship has its high beams directly on you and any moment you are going to be alien abducted. I am glad they are dimmable because otherwise I would have to return them they are so freaking, you guessed it, BRIGHT. If that is what you are in the market for, I highly recommend. Just don't look directly into them or you may be struck with sudden onset paralysis. 5 stars.

Mount them HIGH!
Bought these to replace 4ft bar lights in the shop that failed due to power spikes. Four UFO lights replaced 36 4ft bar lights adequately. They are very bright, which makes for harsh shadows. I have them mounted about 18ft in the air and they do well. Plan to add two more in the future for more complete coverage in the shop. The shop is 30x40 with 12ft walls.

So this is essentially a commercial quality light for anyone at a great price. (Currently it is around the $100 mark). I have played with a lot of lights and this is my new favourite. It is a nice clean and flicker free (tested with super slow motion camera), white light. It is very bright and uses - according to my meter - 190 to 195W @ 117V. It also has a cosine phase of 1.00 (meaning to my basic brain - it’s using 100% of the power efficiently). I hear no humming from the light. It does generate some heat, but not a concerning amount. After about an hour, mounted to within inches of a ceiling I got it to 65 degrees Celcius (ambient was 15C) The dimmable function won’t be used by many, but if you want to save some electricity (as low as 10W), or if you need less light at times, it is easy to wire up (as shown in another great review). If you aren’t using it, they do a terrific job of safely capping the wire ends. There is nothing I don’t like about this light! They even thread two holes if you are bolting it to something, instead of using the classic hook. The pre-wired 18g wire is flexible enough, and the cord is a good length. This is a terrific light - in all respects - however this may not be the light for you - if: You don’t have high ceilings, (ie don’t mount it in your basement or Someone may be looking up at it (ie don’t mount it on an overhead crane beam) It is 14” round at it’s widest point. The LEDs themselves are about 8.5” across. There don’t appear to be a tonne of LEDs when you look at them, but they sure are bright when it’s on. A quick teardown did yield a little less thermal paste than I’d like (however sometimes less is more). The whole driver is (mostly) encased in an epoxy type mold. Again it looked like they were just a little skimpy on it IMO, but the times that that will come into play are likely very unique scenarios only (maybe barns that get pressure washed a lot?) The plastic shield covering everything up, have a very pliable and soft ring for keeping water/condensation out. Unless your girlfriend finds out how ugly you are when she can finally see you, or a plane tries to land at your place, you will not be disappointed with this light.

4 stars out of 5 This light is quite bright and has made a huge difference in how lit up our shop is, especially when the weather is iffy or if my husband is working in to the night. This was not as easy to install as I was hoping. The instructions need to be much clearer as I'm lucky that my husband has lots of know how otherwise I would have been lost without a professional's help. Overall this is a bright light with some installation required. Better instructions would have upgraded this light to a 4.5 star out of 5 rating.

This review evaluates the “32,000 Lumen 200W UFO LED High Bay Shop Light” made by JC-LGL. The product was well protected in its packaging; all components are snugly contained in a form-fitting cardboard box. What’s in the box: one (1) fully assembled flood light, one (1) threaded hanging hook, one (1) safety mounting wire, and an owner’s manual. First impressions: Solid with a decent-sized aluminum heat sink. The floodlight comes in a nice black finish and presents well. The large heatsink is important to sufficiently cool the LED modules – the more cooling an LED module gets, the more reliable and long-lasting it will be. The floodlight is mounted by a threaded eyebolt from the top (supplied) using cable, rope, chain, or metal hook. There is a steel safety aircraft cable to prevent the light fixture from free-failing to the floor. It comes with a five (5) foot, heavy-duty 120V power cord that can be plugged directly into a standard outlet. Where the cords meet the housing there is a water-resistant grommet. The fixture also comes provisioned with an optional 1-10V dimming wire. ProTip: Do not use a standard household dimming switch on this light (not suited for this much draw), install a commercial 1-10V dimmer (similar to what is used for greenhouse grow lights). The light is CSA/UL/ETL certified for North American or International use which is important for imported electrical products. The product claims to be IP65 rated which by international standards means that for whatever its purpose or intended market, it can resist exposure to dust and withstands low-pressure water jets from any direction. I did not water test this product because to do it effectively I would have to test it in an outdoor environment for no less than 8 -12 months. Since I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. I first tested the floodlight on my workbench. All LEDs were lit and there were no defects (The heatsink stayed reasonably cool to handle after 10 minutes of operation. As mentioned earlier, the cooler an LED module is kept, the longer its effective service life will be. Let me tell you – very bright doesn’t begin to describe the 32,000-lumen output of light… It’s like staring at the sun (never stare at a high-output light like this you will permanently damage your eyesight!). For comparison, most cars with LED high beams put out 1,200 – 4,000 lumens while off-road LED applications are usually 8,000 - 20,000 lumens. It illuminated my entire 1000 sqft shop! This floodlight lights up the problem and surrounding area like it was broad daylight. Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am very impressed with the product. At a current price of $109.99, I feel this floodlight is very competitively priced (competitive cost per lumen of illumination) for this class of warehouse LED floodlighting. Compared to the equivalent non-LED Metal Halide equivalent, this uses about a quarter of the energy cost. In summary: the “32,000 Lumen 200W UFO LED High Bay Shop Light” made by JC-LGL is made of quality materials and is very bright. At 32,000 lumens - whatever you need to light up in your yard, your shop, or your life - this overhead bay light has got you covered! This floodlight delivers a competitive cost per lumen of shop illumination. I would recommend this product. Pros 👍: ✔ Nice black finish. ✔ Well-made using quality materials. ✔ Large heatsink that keeps the LEDs cool. ✔ Threaded mounting eyebolt and steel safety cable are included. ✔ IP65 environment rated. ✔ Extremely bright – 32,000 lumens. ✔ Dimmable (1-10V circuit, dimmer switch not included). ✔ Heavy duty 5ft power cord with 3-prong 120V plug. ✔ CSA/UL/ETL safety certified. ✔ Competitively priced and good value. Cons👎: ✘ None!

Upon receiving the JC-LGL LED High Bay Light 200W for my husband's workshop, I was immediately impressed with the overall quality and design of the product. The light is incredibly well-made and durable, and it provides a powerful and reliable source of illumination for the workshop. The 32,000LM (160LM/W) output is incredibly bright and provides excellent coverage, ensuring that every corner of the workshop is well-lit and visible. The light is also dimmable, which provides excellent flexibility when it comes to adjusting the brightness to suit different tasks and preferences. Installation of the light was incredibly easy, thanks to the 5' cable with plug, hanging hook, and safe rope that were included. My husband was able to install the light himself in a matter of minutes, without any additional assistance. Since installing the light in February, it has performed flawlessly, providing reliable and consistent illumination for my husband's workshop. The high-quality design and construction of the light give us confidence that it will continue to perform well for years to come. Overall, we are incredibly impressed with the JC-LGL LED High Bay Light 200W. It is a high-quality, reliable, and easy-to-install light that has exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend it to anyone in need of a powerful and reliable lighting solution for their workshop or other large space.

At last, some real 200W lamp. It is very bright, from a couple inch away you can feel the light heat your skin just like the sun on a clear day. You may need dimming, so let's talk about it. A little over 9V will get you full power, and closer to 0V will bring the lamp down to 10W (5% of max power). Your choices are to have a 0-10V source, or a 10k ohms potentiometer. The voltage ca be 0-12V as there is already some voltage present on the wires, I would not suggest LED dimmer as they use PWM signal which is not constant. There exists a commercial 0-10V dimmer already and DMX-10V converter. The other option is very cost-effective, a simple potentiometer, 10K for one lamp, (5 K for 2, 3.3K for 3, 2.5K for 4), for more lamp you would go with some commercial installation hardware as 10V is standard for lighting. The lamp has no visible AC flicker to the camera; thus it is suitable for spaces where you may shoot videos. A great lamp for large storage space or workshop. It may be good theatres, arenas where you would like the dimming options over many circuits, and you want to shoot videos. Just be aware they don't shut off completely from the dimming signal, which may be an annoyance, you would need to turn off the switch to get full darkness.
