It's Cute for the Money...Would Not Expect a Long Life Out in the Elements
This coop came to our house in two badly worn boxes that were missing corners and had some sort of cuts/slashes all over them.The contents were mostly intact, except for two split pieces that were able to be salvaged with wood glue and an extra screw.The assembly of the coop is pretty easy - basically lining up the sides of two boxes and attaching with screws. The instructions were OK...there are at least 5 slightly-different screw sizes in the hardware package that we received, with no instructions on "what does where". We used longer screws where it seemed appropriate and lighter ones on the "trim" sections, and everything worked out OK after I raided my workshop for a few extras here and there.This is a really cute coop for the money. If you're able to put this coop in a somewhat sheltered/roofed area, off of the wet ground, and with few serious predator threats, I think you could get at least a couple of years worth of service out of this coop.If you'd have this out in the full elements, get blasted by hard winters, would have it sitting directly on the wet ground, or face serious predation issues with foxes, raccoons, etc...I would look elsewhere. This coop is really cute and we intend to use it for when people "chicken sit" for us during weekend trips and such....and I think it will be OK for that purpose.I would not expect this to last very long out in the elements (especially on the wet ground) or under a serious, nighttime effort from predators.Thanks!

Only received one box but company sent me a whole new coop the very next business dayI'm looking forward to moving my chickens to their new home 🏡
