I’m blown away!
I’m a professional musician who owns many bass guitars. As a hobby, I set up and work on stringed instruments. I have ordered multiple cheap foreign instruments sight unseen, fully expecting to have to correct numerous issues to make a cheap instrument playable. Right out of the box this bass was not only beautiful, but had excellent fretwork, and great intonation. Like better than instruments that I had purchased for over 10X the price! The tone sounds really good as well. I purchased this bass because of how light it is. I’ve had some back pain issues and this bass is nearly 40% lighter than my main gigging instrument!! For these reasons, at this price point, it is 5 huge stars!!That said, as a pro, I had to put some work in it to make it gig worthy. First, the truss rod tension was pretty great, totally usable as is, but i had to tweak it a little for my taste.I lowered the string height at the bridge pretty low and to my surprise still no fret buzz! The string height at the nut was too high for comfortability, so I filed the nut slots to appropriate specs, and the neck plays perfect! I didn’t have to level any frets whatsoever. Even on expensive “plecked” instruments i have had to file frets to get the action as low as i like. I was blown away.As for the less impressive aspects:The neck is a huge chunky baseball bat thickness that gave me a little hand fatigue after a few straight hours of play. For a gigging musician, sanding the neck to a thinner depth would be way more comfortable. The neck is a little heavy and wants to dive a little in standing position. Some lighter tuning machines could cure this. The tone of the pickup is very acceptable, but a little muddier than more big name basses. The tone knob breaks up too fast and is not a really usable tone after about 30% turned up in my opinion. New pots and caps could solve this, and maybe an upgraded pickup if you want to that sound.Bottom line: This bass is killer for the price. Maybe I lucked out and got a really nice one, but if the is representative of their average quality, I would not hesitate to recommend this as great beginner bass, a nice backup bass for a pro, or if one is so inclined to have tools, and like to tinker or mod instruments, this could be an amazing main axe for a nightly performer. Seriously the nicest “cheap” new instrument I have ever purchased!

Fantastic Starter with minor issues
First I just want to preface this with that I know guitars, pretty well and how they work etc.Now onto the review: I extensively researched this Bass prior to purchasing and would advise anyone else to do the same, this models been updated from the one shown in many of the initial YouTube video reviews that I saw online MUCH of which have been major improvements from feedback provided by those content creators and just customers overall.Cons: Mine unfortunately had a solder issue that caused the jack on the guitar to not work at all as the wires connected were not soldered to make a clean connection. The fingerboard leads more to be desired, it’s unfinished and I’d highly advise you to finish it to remove any worry of potential issues later down the road. My tone and volume knobs etc had been slightly stripped and would turn further than they really should’ve which caused a ton of feedback and white noise sounds when turned to max tone and volume on the bass itself. This I still have to go back and address but doesn’t cause any issues if you turn it slightly down to where it should’ve been to begin with.Pros: THERE ARE SO MANY! When I received my bass, it was pretty much ready to rock and roll outside of the jack issue which I could handle fixing myself. The finish and color on the Bass looks fantastic, the fret ends we’re properly rounded and files appropriately, there were no sharp ends, and the back of the neck was sanded and lightly finished pretty well as well which led to a really smooth feel while gripping the neck. The hardware all works really well, and I’ve only had it go out of tune once since getting it last month which was when it had just settled after tuning it for the first time. In terms of playability, it plays so SMOOTH if you had tossed Fender or Ibanez hardware on this with logos I probably wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference for their entry models(sub-$250) honestly. The strings provided you can really play out of the box as a set of starter strings, they feel and sound pretty decent.Overall this is a fantastic budget bass that punches above where I’d have expected it to have been at the price point it rests at. It does have some issues, but honestly at this price point I expected some and it had way less than previous year model reviews had according to videos and other reviews which was a big plus. If you just want a cheap back up bass or want to start on a solid beginner bass I’d say this is definitely worth the cost. If you’re already experienced with Bass, it may not be worth it overall unless you want a cheap work horse or practice instrument as the wood used in the body is extremely extremely light and may not have that same tone you get from harder wood bodied bass guitars, but what I can say is that it’s pretty fun to play.

Received without an item
Bass Guitar is great, but it was shipped without a bag. I sent a message to seller to see if that will be shipped separately.

Great value if you can do some basic set up
Nice finish, beautiful colors. Knobs/pots seem flimsy but that's to be expected at this price point. It did require a truss rod adjustment to get the neck in the right place with a playable action, but it's not hard to do and there are plenty of videos out there to explain it. Once set up the instrument plays well, big sound from the pickups. Overall a great value for the money if you have a basic familiarity with how to set up a bass.

Great Qualities low prices
I’ve bought several of these Glarry basses and guitars over the years and they are always great quality for what you pay. I’d say that they might be similar to squier quality maybe. Either way you get well what you are going to be paying for.

Pretty Good!
No sharp frets whatsoever, everything was placed properly, clean routing job, and the pickups sound surprisingly good. I had to adjust the action because it was high but no big deal. My only issue with the bass is that the body is super light so it feels a bit neck-heavy, which isn’t a huge deal if you are just using it to learn or just to have a bass around. I actually swapped the body for one I handmade because it was heavier (my plan to begin with) and made a bunch of modifications. Overall it felt more balanced due to the weight of the neck. I also re-shaped the headstock and made my own logo just for fun. I’ve been playing guitar for 14 years (I’m 27) and started building guitars a year ago and in my opinion this is a great platform for building or learning to play.
