Works great. Much quicker and easier than using a mixer, plus it stores leftovers for later. I chilled the entire unit prior to use, just like chilling the bowl and beaters before using a mixer. Pour in the cream with at least a tablespoon or two of powdered sugar and flavoring such as vanilla or rum. My first attempt I didn't add enough and I thought the cream was a little bitter. Next time I added more sugar and it was great. I mixed the sugar with a little cream before adding to the dispenser to help with mixing. Screw on the lid securely. Add a N20 cartridge and screws down its cover FIRMLY to be sure the end is punctured and listen for the gas to enter the main chamber. If the gas doesn't enter the chamber you won't get whipped cream. One N20 cartridge for each cup of cream. Turn it upside down and shake shake shake. HEY! Real, tasty whipped cream, richer than canned whipped cream. If you don't use it all, you can put the rest in the refrigerator for a week. Just give it a shake before use. My dispenser did not lose any pressure at all while in the refrigerator and I was able to use all the whipped cream inside. I am very happy with the contraption.

This is a simply wonderful whipped cream dispenser that fits into the tall items area of your fridge (it is quite tall and needs the same space as a bottle of orange juice, or a quart soda bottle). I used the plastic head first, and was so happy with it I haven't bothered to try the others. After several nitric oxide cartridges I haven't had a single leak of gas, all the parts fit tightly together without leaks, and the whipped cream keeps coming out just the way it should. Since I'm on a low carb diet, I pour one pint of cream into the container along with an eye dropper full of vanilla stevia for sweetening. No carbs. Absolutely perfect whipped cream without the sugar worries! I just wish Starbucks would use such an option.I'm also able to make low carb hot chocolate for my wife, using unsweetened soy milk, Lily's chocolate, and stevia sweetener, then topping the whole thing with wonderful sweet whipped cream that is void of sugar of any type. I wish I had bought one of these years ago. Thumbs up!

extremely difficult to twist the handle in order to puncture the cartridge. However, I put an Isi plastic cartridge handle on it and problem solved! Way more reasonably priced than buying an original isi. NOTE: the discharge nozzle (where the whipped cream comes out) is a 2 piece all metal nozzle. The trouble is, No2 leaks out between the nozzle base (piece 1), and the nozzle itself that you screw onto the base. Maybe a small gasket would fix this leak issue. This happens with the metal on metal. I put the plastic nozzle on the base and that fixed the leakage. So, after a bit of tinkering, I am very happy with the product! The customer service also has been very helpful.

I have two of the Animoto dispensers. I have found them to be well made and they give me the feeling that they will last a long time. I am not having a problem with nozzles or cross threading or leaks of any kind. I am using the dispenser with the Ultra Prue N2O chargers with no problem. In short, I am happy with product and would buy again. Only slight concern is the availability of parts. On the Amazon site and at the Animato web site I could not find a way to order the gasket, addition nozzles, etc. This might not be a problem as I didn't try to email Animato - but be careful - if you typically misplace parts make sure you can get replacements.

This is the first time purchasing a whip cream dispenser because I wanted to make my own whip cream rather then buying the ones from the grocery stores. After reading all the reviews I decided to purchased this brand!!! I was very disappointed for several reasons: It claims to make an equivalent of approximately 3 to 4 cans of whipped cream! it made about 5 single servings and still more heavy whipping cream in dispenser ( I even used top rated ISI chargers ), It splashes no matter how gentle I'm when dispensing. I emailed the company and did exactly what they recommended and still did not work then I emailed back again but never receive any further support. Luckily Amazon gave me a refund.

After a little while it started to not work smoothly, despite the care we took of it (cleaning every part, etc.)Somehow the whipped cream got stuck in it and it doesn't release the entire quantity.It's ok for the price but there's surely something better.

I am very happy with the product. I just made my first batch of plain whipped cream. Did have to convert grams to cups and tablespoons. No big deal - my cell phone does all that for me. I love the size and the stainless steel. I have been using another whipped cream maker for many year. I can understand why everyone doesn't have one. Doing it this way is so much easier and not mess to clean up afterward. This one is much sturdier. A real plus is being able to store the cream in it to use later!

Very well built. Strong heavy metal and very strong threading on parts. As a guy this kitchen item even impresses me.Also looks like it would be at home at a fancy dinner party or the local potluck. Nothing wrong with being the fancy guy/girl.My nieces (children) lit up with excitement and wonder when I got it out for them to have with their hot drinks. Obviously not a toy, I wouldn't leave it unattended with children. Pressure isn't much more than grocery ones, but I probably wouldn't allow young children to put mouth on it. That isn't to say that we adults couldn't do it theoretically speaking.
