Good but not 100% what I wanted
I like these envelopes mostly because of the size. I wanted envelopes that were big enough to easily put large textbooks in, but for close to the same price as the slightly smaller ones. These seemed to be the best bet for that. That being said I did have one thing I didn't like, the photo of this item looks glossy making me think it was plastic, which I much prefer because they fold much better and are waterproof. It does say it is made of recycled paper so it is almost completely my fault for not noticing, but after comparing so many envelopes you stop looking closely.Overall a good product and I probably will continue to buy it unless I find a plastic counterpart at the same price and size.

Almost perfect, very happy with purchase, would buy again
I am really happy with my purchase of this product, and I intend to buy again when I run out. I bought these because they were large enough for most things I would ever want to mail. I have been selling my old book collection, and I cut the mailer in half and can then mail two books with one envelope. I do wish that these were waterproof, but I knew that they weren't when I bought them. Also, my one complaint about the product is that the bubble liner ends about .5 to 1 in before the top, so that if you have something really long, the end of it (if it is near the flap) won't be padded. This is remedied by just sticking the flap down further, tucking the un-bubbled portion of the mailer down. But, if I cut the bubble mailer in half, often I don't have enough space to do this so some is un-padded. That said, I am still happy with this purchase and will purchase more when I run out.

Great quality, reasonable price
The quality is great, perfect for shipping books or other light-weight items (I'm using it to ship books I sell). The bubble wrap & material is sturdy and durable (I handle a lot of different types of mailers because I receive a lot of packages). The adhesive isn't very reliable, but I backup all my packages with shipping tape regardless.I'm new to buying/shipping items so I was a bit unsure about the different sizes. This would fit any of the books/novels I sell, notebooks, and thin/moderately-sized textbooks (among other things you'd like to ship). It's a little bigger than a school folder and should fit things adequately without getting too tight.Overall, it's a great mailer and I'd easily order more. Not too sure about pricing since I'm always looking for the best deals, but this kind of mailer is great.

Small packaging value/perforamance sweet spot.
This is the 3rd (or 4th?) package of these I've purchased for shipping ebay goods. For shipping small items, this has been my go to sweet spot for packaging value. There's enough padding that I've been comfortable shipping DVDs and paperback books without additional packaging. The adhesive is utterly tenacious. . .if you stick it down, it's staying there. They weigh next to nothing so you don't end up adding much if any cost to packaging and allows you to use 1st class mailing far more often if you sell small items. Various packing tapes also stick to the paper extremely well (i've had a few paper envelopes that some packing tapes would lift off from and i'd have to make a full loop around and stick the tape to itself.) Great all around packaging!

Best Deal on Mailers I've Found
What can you say about mailer envelopes? These are your standard self sealing mailers. They seem well constructed and the durable, and the self sealing strip is quite sticky. 10 3/8" x 15 1/8" is quite roomy and the bubbles appear to be well inflated for maxium protection during shipping. That's about all I can them.I would like to praise the shipper. The box of envelopes didn't arrive quickly but was within the shipping timeframe so no complaints there. The mailers were neatly packed in the box and the shipper sent me 53, not just 50. That makes the incredible savings on this even better. My local office supply store charges up to four times what this cost me. If you are looking for a great deal and need bulk oversized padded envelopes, this is it!

Great inexpensive bubble mailers
These bubble mailers are made in the USA and are high quality. The actual length and width are 11.5X16 inches, large and roomy enough to safely and securely send large books, magazines, and you can even cut them in half to usefor mailing smaller items. At about 30 cents per mailer, this is a great deal. I'm an Amazon seller and these bubble mailersare just what I needed for mailing various items to my customers. My bubble mailers arrived today and I was surprised at thesize of the box they were shipped in and the size of the bubble mailers themselves. I sell books, DVD's, video games, magazines, and other items most people want so these bubble mailers will protect them during shipping. If you're looking for a gooddeal on 11.5X16 bubble mailers, these are for you!

One of the Best
These are one of the best mailers I've used. The three considerations I consider for this product are:1. Price2. Bubble Strength3. StickinessThis product excels in all three.Price for this at the time that I bought it was the cheapest.I ship fragile items, and pack around 1.5 lb. in them. I've shipped my products around the world using these bubble mailers, and there have been no complaints from customers of breakage.I've purchased around this size bubble mailers in the past from other companies, and their self-stick glue is not sticky. This one feels like if you stick it, it won't come off.

Farmer Brent
It is spring time. There is a smell of earth in the air. Brent the farmer scans his field deciding the seeds he'll plant this year. He spots his friend Dan leaving a load of organic fertilizer on the ground. Brent yells over, "hey buddy", Dan just smiles and continues. Brent gets his sprayer "Misty" out and snaps a quick selfie for facebook. Brent spots a small bunny while he is running his tractor. He stops his tractor and gives chase to the rabbit, only to slip in the mud he created with his own urine. Brent laughs to himself, I hope this isn't how the growing season is going to be.
