I was looking for something to my host in for a while now. I needed something that could hold just a few communion wafers, and this is the perfect size. The description states it can hold 10 wafers and as small as it is it actually holds 10 of them. I am thrilled with the appearance, it is the last supper which makes this perfect. The inside, where the wafers are placed, is a plastic container while the outside is metal. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

I love the cover of this. It's the Last Supper. It's painted beautifully and I love the image. This holds for me about 10 hosts. I have small hosts so maybe less if your hosts are bigger. It snaps back into place after use and it keeps the hosts cool and dry.

I liked this pyx because it was larger in size than others and will work great taking to nursing homes. The artwork is very pretty and relates to the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist. Would purchase again.
