Great value, they work✊🏽🤣easy to use, durable have to get use to design but that’s not as important as they work….though they worked placed them a 4 ft. Stump made into a table Woodpeckers like for 1 day they worked, now the Woodpeckers just fly by them and start hammering on the stump…

I have had some woodpecker damage on the back of my house. I hung these up on the back and one side of my house that never had any damage. Within days of putting them on the side of the house, the woodpeckers started on that same side of the house. So for 30 years, no damaged yet within days of putting these up the woodpeckers drilling holes within a foot or two of these "scare devices". It appears to draw the woodpeckers in, not repel them. I think they actually used one of these to land on so they could drill on the house, see the attached picture of one of these devices and the two small drill holes that were there 1 day after putting the diverter up. The other diverters were hung up higher on the house where they could move more freely.To make matters worse, these are awful quality with 3 of them coming off the attached ring. Only one of them was still functional after 2 or 3 months. Being solid, if they are blown against a house they are very noisy.I have since put up a repelling tape with very positive results.

This item works well on a windy or sunny day. Most times it does keep the birds away, but it depends on how determine the birds are. I would say it's an excellent item, but at times it does not perform as expected.

We had a terrible bird problem in our carport. Could not go anywhere without washing off the bird poop. We searched for options. ( FYI We love birds, but there has to be a limit.) We purchased these from Amazon and installed the throughout the carport. It reduced our problem by 95%.

This product somewhat works but after a while (approx. 5 days) the birds got used to it and started coming back. I used 4 of these on the 4 corners in a 12' x 5' area (ceiling of my front porch) where the birds would build their nest on the brick wall about 4 inches below the ceiling. That kept the birds off in this section permanently. However, I had another adjoining section (porch) of the same size on the other side (separated by an arch) where I had the remaining two of these hanging. The birds completely ignored them and build new nests right next to them. I knock off the nest every day and a new one re-appears. I finally got the Bird-B-Gone caulk tubes from Wall Mart online store and that took care of my bird problem.

I tried these because of their size, reflectivity/eyeball graphics, and the swivel connector which should keep it from twisting up and fouling it's tether. The swivel connector seems to work well and the overall size is good (providing good "action" even in a slight breeze). But, unfortunately, the reflectivity/eyeball graphic is just a sticker which falls off after a few weeks leaving just an ineffective gray "spoon". I'm going to spray paint them with "chrome" paint to see if they're salvageable.

Great product, exactly as described, they seem to be working, I haven't seen any birds close to area of the cats.

From September 2013: Was much bigger than I thought, about 3" wide by 5" long tear-drop style. I have them on my front porch facing toward a post that nuisance doves were attempting to nest on. Also used a repellent gel, so not sure which is working better. They are unsightly so I have them facing inward, hanging on potted plants and facing the post. These didn't look pretty from the street so wanted to have them out of view. They are actually colored as black center, yellow ring, then red ring, and remainder is reflective silver/chrome-like. I know by the picture they look like they would be somewhat camouflaged in a natural setting, but they really are not. Will be leaving them up year-round to see if they work or not. So far, not anything to get excited about...just okay. Originally gave 3 stars for this.UPDATE January 2014: These are a waste of $$. These are definitely NOT working, and I have them in a place where I can leave them up year-round and they are not seen from the street by other neighbors. Nesting season is about to commence and the birds are once again hanging around. The last issue I had with the birds is...ready for this one...they were actually perching/sitting on top of these!!! Save your money and pass these by. The seller was great, however. Product now rated to 1 star (and would be less if I could).
