I got this stuff because it actually noted amounts of ingredients within, something which many other green powders don't do. Because of that, I was able to see that this contained more spirulina and chlorella than I typically note in other green powders, assuming ingredients are listed in order of volume. In addition to that, I believe this one also had some other sea vegetables in it that are less commonly encountered too. All in all, it was a good product. The taste and smell were a bit better than some other green powders I have tried, perhaps because this was a berry blend. The only thing it seems to be lacking is digestive enzymes, which may not be entirely necessary, but the more I look into health the more I see that something like that can benefit at least some people due to absorption issues and the like. I am not sure if I am in that camp, but it's definitely something to keep in mind.

I have been taking greens since 2012 as part of my nutrition regimen. I live in a rural area where it’s sometimes hard to get fruits and veggies and I feel like this helps. I don’t have any solid evidence that it’s been working but here’s what I know, I have more energy than most people my age, I am always told I look younger than I am and I look healthy and strong. I take my greens with a mixture of other supplement powders like magnesium, fiber, and collagen and I usually take it an hour or so before bedtime, I call the mixture my “good night juice”. I like this particular one cause it tastes less bitter than other greens and smells sweeter, just my preference.

I don’t love the taste, BUT it has so many nutrients that my body needs right now. I like the probiotic and sea vegetable addition and the price. Here’s a preparation tip...I like to make this in the morning in a mason jar and just shake with water (a find a squeeze of lemon helps with the taste) and sometimes I add other super food powders like matcha or whole food vitamin c powder. Then chill. It tastes much better chilled and you can just grab from the fridge when you need an energy boost in the afternoon. The mason jar is key because this stuff settles to the bottom and I have to shake / swirl between sips.

I've been mixing this product in water for a daily drink on and off for at least two years, and sometimes in protein smoothies as well. It has a mildly sweet, not grassy, flavor that is easy to get down. And it dissolves well; drink a glass in a few gulps right after you mix it. I get tempted by a deal to try other greens powders but always come back to this. The energy and feeling of well-being because of this drink is undeniable. It's especially good mid-afternoon for me; it stops mid-afternoon sleepiness and candy bar cravings. And my skin glows, too.

This is not like the old Greens Plus that said "advanced multi" where it now says "superfood". This one has a distinct fishy taste to it....I'll be hunting down the old version because I really liked that product--this one is very unpleasant, like a punishment to get down.
