Great Book for Teachers
This book is basically doing the legwork for you with how the CAGED sequence connects from octave to octave. It is great for teachers to use with their students as well as for any student wanting to unlock chords on the fretboard. It basically covers most of your extended and embellished voicings connecting them up the neck in a process he titles " Chord Orbits" which is suiting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for more chord knowledge.

Interesting concept but no helpful applications
I wanted to find this material more useful but unfortunately the diagrams are just kind of clobbed all together without a lot of explanation.

The paperback version is excellent. the Kindle version is unusable as the actual orbit charts are unreadable. Do yourself a favor and just order the paperback version. Whoever is taking care of getting this on the Kindle needs to update it with a more suitable transfer.

Perhaps the Single Greatest Guitar Chord Book of All-Time!
I am new to the world of guitar, but Don Latarski's Chord Orbit book is amazing! It is organized according to chord tone and contains chord patterns that can be played up and down the fretboard. Rather than memorize dozens of different fingerings for dozens of different chords, Chord Orbits makes chord fingerings simple and repeatable. This book is remarkable!

A good reference
Good reference material for advancing guitarists. ILike Don's books as I'm really not interested in books laden with theory any more. If I need a quick refresh on chord voicing a in different positions it's there in a flash. The same goes for his Books on scales and arpeggios. It's just non cluttered
