Chilled Soda and World Peace
5 Stars for some very important reasons:1. Find ANYTHING that will chill your room-temp can of soda as quickly and simply.2. It is $20.3. Because this little gem can bring about refreshment, joy, and relaxation THAT MUCH QUICKER AND EASIER THAN ANYTHING ELSE ON EARTH, it could be the means of end to all wars, famine, corruption, etc...In all seriousness, it works. It works in less than two minutes, and not just cold, but chilled to probably a temp lower than your fridge. Is it perfect? Nope. Sometimes the suction cup fails. Sometimes, if the ice is not in the tray correctly, it fails. Sometimes, the motor doesn't want to work. But, IT IS $20! THE REST OF THE TIME YOU CAN TAKE A 95° SODA AND CHILL IT IN LESS THAN TWO MINUTES. SO, for all of you who just want to complain and denigrate, if we find an island for all of you, will you go?Congratulations and cheers to the brilliant mind behind this little gem.

Great for parties
Who wants to drink warm beer? This is great for adding extra chill to your beverages. Works as described and it’s great for cooling things down quickly. Beverages don’t explode as if shaken when opened. It’s a great and useful option for a white elephant gift.

Ghetto fabulous! (This thing is cheap junk but it works so well)
So it was a pain to break this in, the first 2 days of use the suction cup worked to well. Now that it's broke in I came back to edit my review.Basically this thing is a horrible design and seems to need the can to be flat and level to work good. Unfortunately the odds your ice cubes under the can will be the perfect size is not good.So I found holding your finger under the motor to keep weight off it works amazingly. This thing is touchy but since it only takes like 30 seconds I don't think keeping a finger on it is a big deal. How it works is you throw like 6 (or more) icecubes in the bottom then the can lays on top of them then I put like 4 more on top and turn it on. Those 10 cubes should get you 2 to 3 cans very cold in 30 seconds each. You can go longer if you want ice cream cold. It's not as ugly and play as it should be but once you figure out to keep the can level it works perfectly so I gave it a better rating of 4 stars because it works better than I thought it would however needs a finger to assist it.I have a counter top ice maker (like $130 here) for the garage that makes ice in 8 mins and puts out 28 pounds a day. This next to my ice maker is a awesome combination as I can grab a warm beer or soda out of the garage case and have it cold in Seconds.I could get a fridge but since I don't need it daily this is way better and saves power. If you are the type that wants instant plug and play you may throw this out before you break it in but if you stick with it through a case of beer you'll get it down and won't even notice its faults anymore.Hope this helps because I had to tinker to figure out the key was to keep the can flat to get a fast spin and perfect results

total gimmick not worth 24 bucks.
i paid 24 bucks for this thing just to try it out. thought it was too good to be true and it is. good idea but poorly executed in a comical sense. i've seen "As seen on TV" products with better quality.you'd do better to just get something that is just slightly bigger than a 12oz can of soda, put the can of soda in the container first then put ice all around it. let it sit for about 3 mins. your soda will be nice and cold. you don't need 2 AA batteries, hear some loud thing that hardly works right (more on this later) and doesn't leak.you get the thing it is in 3 parts. the container which is ok i guess. has a slit in it to accommodate the suction cup that is supposed to turn the can around and around with a loud motor. the problem with that is the suction cup is not powerful enough to keep a grip onto the can so it slips or slips off you have to hold it on no matter if you wet the cup or not. kinda annoying. just letting the can sit there with the ice in does a better job.so with that, just get a container that you can put a can of soda in it put ice around the can and be done with it. save yourself 20-24 bucks.

It works! But...
It does work. It makes your warm canned drinks cold in a couple of minutes as advertised. The quality of construction is extremely poor and for what it is it is overpriced. This should cost $15-$20 not a penny more. It has this poorly engineered cheap rubber suction cup that you stick to the bottom of the can and then you insert it into a motor ghat spins it on top of some ice. The two problems with this design are that the suction cup comes out of the motor and also the suction cup comes off the can. So it fails about 60% of the time and you need to put the suction cup back in the can or insert it back into the motor or both. I'm going to use this a couple more weeks to see if the cold sodas are worth the frustration.
