I’ve been maintaining my own locs for a while now, and this KACOLA set is hands down the best value I’ve found. I used to use a standard craft store crochet hook, but these are specifically designed for hair and make a huge difference. It’s ergonomic and comfortable to hold for long sessions without my hand cramping up. • Speed: The double and triple-head needles are amazing for the initial locking process. They grab so much more hair at once, cutting the time in half compared to a single needle. • Versatility: I love that it comes with both the 0.5mm and 0.75mm options (check your specific kit). It gives you precision for cleaning up fuzzy roots and strength for thicker locs. • Durability: I was worried the needles might snap, but they feel sturdy even when working through dense sections.

I have been using this for about a year now. They've held up extremely well. The finish on them still looks brand new. I do wish the handle was slightly larger. What'd they make fixing my dreads a lot faster since now i can do them at home, and I don't always have to make an appointment to go out to a loctition.

I've had these for over 2 years; they are very durable and easy tool to learn fast. it has a nice thickness to it that fits good on hand. the metal part is very sturdy to wood part of hooks. Hair style comes out effortlessly nice.
