In the box: The packaging for the Fifine Lavalier Mic is really nice. It comes in a plain white, and very simple box that contains the microphone, the USB receiver and the USB stick that goes into the computer. It also comes with an instruction manual, to help set up the device. There is also nice padding around the items to insure that the contents don’t get damaged. There is also a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable included in the box.Setup: The setup of the microphone is very easy. The USB receiver takes two AA batteries, which are thankfully included in the box. The 3-pin XLR cable that is attached to the mic plugs into the top of the USB receiver. Hold down the power button to turn it on. Then plug in the USB stick into the computer and it will automatically install the drivers needed. After that, just make the microphone your primary sound recording device and you are good to go. Very simple, easy, and well explained in the setup manual. Only took me about five minutes to do.Quality of Products: All the products feel slightly on the cheaper side, since they are mostly made out of plastic. But despite the cheap build quality, all of the products function well.The Microphone: The Microphone has a pretty short cable which connects to the USB receiver. It is nice that the mic is wireless so you don’t have to fidget with wires when using it. The mic also attaches to your shirt via a clip attached to the mic. I found that I get the best audio quality when I attached the mic to the bottom of my shirt collar.Sound Quality: If the microphone doesn't sound very good at first, make sure you have the microphone set as your default recording device and have it clipped to the top of your shirt. Once I had done this, the audio quality was amazing. It was crystal clear with very little background noise. Given that the mic is wireless, I was pretty surprised. Overall, this is a great mic for starting Youtubers and for giving talks.

The Fifine K031 is one of my favorite mics of all time. it is quite incredible and high quality and inexpensive considering its wireless. I'm going to give you guys a bit of a verbal unboxing and review of the mic itself and i just gotta say it is the best and coolest mic ive ever reviewed. Here is the unboxing/review: In the box we have the user manual as well as the information card on top of a thin layer of foam. Under the foam we see the bodypack transmitter which is used receiving and sending frequencies along side the microphone itself surrounded by foam to keep them safe. Taking those out we see the USB receiver with LCD display, a 3.5mm audio cable, and 2 AA batteries to power the bodypack transmitter. The mic comes attached to a non detachable mini female XLR cable to plug into the transmitter, a clip to clip the mic to any piece of clothing, and a detachable windscreen to prevent plosives and background noise from reaching the diaphragm of the mic. The USB receiver comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can monitor the audio coming from the mic.The mic itself has incredible audio quality as well as amazing build quality. It is small and unnoticeable as any lavalier mic should be. The bodypack transmitter is small and lightweight for easy transportation and can clip on your belt or pants for unnoticeable usage. The USB receiver is large and bulky for a USB plugin but is very sturdy and strong, as well as fashionable. The 3.5mm audio cable is made of strong, durable rubber to minimize mishaps when handling the cable. The cable attached to the mic itself is thinner and less durable so it must be handled with care. The clip on the mic is made up of thin metal but is very strong and requires a bit of strength to get open. The mic windscreen is very high quality fabric and is much harder to tear so you won't be needing a new one anytime soon. Both the mic and the transmitter ar hardly noticeable on my body which is key in any lavalier microphone.Moving on to the test of the microphone we get very high quality audio coming from a tiny little mic. The transmitter works just fine with the mic and USB receiver.Overall this mic is incredible and not much can be improved as it is already incredible. Fifine has made an incredible and amazing mic for usto use.

The sound is great and the transmitter and receiver works fine with my computer. I use it for video voice-overs and live streaming and everyone like the sound quality. I would have given 5 stars but the plastic clip for the lavalier mic breaks easily. It is difficult to find what size (mm) the base of the lavalier mic is, so I will have to order and return metal spring clip lavalier mic clips until I find the perfect size.
