Great quality but it came without the earth bracelet, can someone help me please

Decent quality overall. Hard wearing material but be prepared to smell it on the room for few days after opening.

The mat is good value but I had to replace the wrist strap with a 3rd party one as it was not conducting. The cords are always 1Megohm, so the resistance from the body to the mat (e.g. stud on opposite corner) should not be more than a few Meg maximum. After replacing it with a better wrist strap this was the case. The one provided was about 100 Meg which is not going to drain the static charge from the body. So I would say a good buy but make sure you get your multimeter out to test. You will also need another wire to connect the opposite corner to a grounded point, if your table is not grounded and metal.

At 3' x 2' or 900mm x 600mm this is great for a table or bench top. The 2mm thick mat rolls up easily for stowage or just leave it out. It has a top blue layer that is like a pvc mat - it is a dissapative layer of static electricity and the black lower is a conductive rubber mat. The design concept is to make this high impedance so the static safely is conducted away from you and the electronics slowly. The mat has two studs (10mm) along one side so that you can use it left handed or right handed. Personally i've added two more studs so all four corners have tge studs which was easy to do. The blue layer is heat and oil resistant and easy to clean. You can solder on it without issue. I absolutely rely on these for very highly expensive electronics for the last 20 years and have had zero problems or ESD damage with these products. The cord is mostly coiled making it an ideal wrist attachment. The wrist bracelet is adjustable and contains silver thin wires to ensure good contact with your skin. Buy an earthing ESD plug and a straight cord to attach this to protective earth. Highly recommended, Andrew

I’ve repaired equipment for years now and do a lot of soldering, so when this can up for review I had to give it a go. First off I was surprised by the size of it, I didn’t take in the dimensions when I requested it so that was a pleasant surprise. It fits my bench perfectly and I love that my soldering bench is well protected now. This is really for professionals or those that are doing soldering day in day out. It has anti static points on the mat that you can add a wrist strap to so that you don’t ruin the electronics that you are working on. The surface is heat resistant and cleans up well after I had dropped some oil on it.Overall I’ve never had a mat like it, and if you are after a large quality mat from a reputable company, then I can recommend this.

This is something I probably should have got myself as long time ago but better late than never I guess lol. I do a lot of electronic projects so I'm always soldering away. I usually usually just solder on my desk but stuff slips around and any wayward solder drips usually means a permanent mark on my desk. This mat is ideal for me, the large size is great as it gives me a large working area so I can have all my components and boards within reach and offers plenty of room to hold my soldering station. The built in ESD strap also offers piece of mind when I'm working on particularly sensitive boards though I don't use it as much as I probably should.

Great quality and nice size. The only complaint is the edges are very square so if you keep the mat right at the edge of your desk and constantly put your elbow or arm there it gets uncomfortable. I cut a chamfer with a knife and now it's much more comfortable. This is made of heavy duty rubber and has two nice snap connectors on the corners. I did not receive any other hardware or a grounding wire etc. with mine.

Solder splatters have not damaged this ESD mat, nor left any visible marks. It has two standard buttons for a wrist strap. The underside is grippy and conductive, and is best suited to sitting on a metal table. I actually ground it to a receptacle earth using the second button.

This works great as an anti static work surface. No problems and it's the perfect size. Worth every penny.

Good quality mat that seems resistant to soldering irons and heavy stuff.
