these are very sturdy and the calendar on front is a bonus..mydaughter does meal planning and makes up at least 7to8days worth.she loves the slider ones.heavier weight than others.

These were on sale for a great price, well worth it since we us these all the time.

The issue that I have with most zip top bags for the freezer is that they're too thin to actually hold up to the harsher temperatures and ice build up that happens in a freezer. So you throw your stuff into a regular bag, and hope for the best. If you're going to go back and unload it quickly, that'll be fine, but the bag will likely be worse for the wear.These bags are study. I mean heavy duty sturdy. That's why they have that month and date thingy on there: because you know you can put stuff in, and throw it into the freezer to hang out longer term, and it'll be fine. I have used these for a while now and they always stand up to the punishing conditions of the freezer. No complaints.

I make lots of sourdough boules, and these bags perfectly hold half of a large boule. I love the Calendar feature as I usually freeze the Boule. The zipper keeps my bread fresh, these are good quality and work well. At eight cents each they were the best value. It’s quick for me to circle the date and then write the type of bread on the bag.
