Durable
If itās Kong, weāre all in. These have been some of the best toys and products for an avid chewer! Theyāve not been able to rip, tear, or damage any of these toys! We have the small tire and the medium tire. The small is perfect for our 4 1/2 boy and the medium was perfect for our 11 lb Chihuahua TERRIER mix. If it can survive a terrier itās good enough for me.

Aggressive chewer
My puppy is eight months old and a very aggressive chewer. I've had to throw away a lot of toys because she would chew a leg right off and I would find her eating the stuffing. Obviously, this dog needs a toy that is fun but not easily destroyed. The KONG brand is well known. I took a chance it would hold up to my puppy and it does. She happily chews on this Puppy Tire and does not destroy it. I'm very pleased.

Great toy for retrievers!
Awesome toy for throwing and chewing. My dogās favorite toy! It is smaller than expected, the large one is on the smaller side for my yellow lab. But itās the right size for long distance throws, it rolls and bounces great. She also loves to chew on it, it seems very sturdy. Iād definitely recommend for a mid sized dog.

Perfect for "Heavy Chewers," lasts long, and has yet to come apart or tear up
I have several dogs, and they are what would be considered as "Heavy Chewers." They are truly awesome pets, and I consider them like my children. I started looking for toys that I wouldn't worry about if I didn't have line of sight for every minute. All dog toys, regardless of their size, type, weight, or if they're steel versus plastic material have a warning on the bottom of very label/package that states that the animal should never be left alone with the toy. With that said, I do not leave the toys unattended, even though this toy has paid it's weight in how well it has stood up to the constant chewing my dogs give it everytime I place it in their crates to prevent fights, or issues on the pack order. As far as the actual toy, it looks, feels, and even smells like a tire, but without any problems with the dogs accepting it to play with. The toy bounces like a ball, and the overall weight is heavy enough to ensure durability. Just like a tire, the toy is made of rubber, not plastic material. I have found that smearing small amounts of peanut butter in to the crevices of the tire rather than brand specific treats is just as effective, I will also freeze the peanut butter into the tire, and this also increases the length of time it takes for the dogs to consume. I ended up buying three more toys, mostly so all my dogs have one, and that I also have one as a spare. I would recommend this to any owner of a "Heavy Chewer" as the product is well made, and yet to have any defect or piece removed by any of my dogs, and they do chew on these toys extensively.

Durable
My dog loves this. It does leave a black mark on the wall when he flings it across the room, but that is him doing it. Very durable love this.

Great for heavy chewers, could be bigger.
This tire is great.... if you have a small to medium dog. It's still very good for a large dog it's just harder to grab it when they have it in their mouth. It's great to throw in the yard, it rolls really well. My Am. Staffy/Bully loves it! For the price you can not go wrong! I'm sure this one (toy) will last quite a while!

SAVE YOUR MONEY, THESE ARE UTTER GARBAGE UNLESS YOUR DOG HAS NO TEETH (MAYBE)!!
For all those purchasers who are posting videos of these toys while talking about how great they are and how long they have lasted at your house, would you mind disclosing the breed and age of your dog(s) that play with them? I only ask because I am finding these "positive" reviews REALLY hard to believe now that I have firsthand knowledge that, as a chew toy, this thing completely sucks. Based upon personal experience and the physical and photographic evidence, your dog might be an OBSESSIVE chewer, but they are most assuredly NOT a "power" chewer. If they were, you would almost certainly be posting reviews saying that this toy is utter crap, just like I'm having to do now. After many years of experience using Kong brand toys, the idea that this toy is the "most durable" Kong toy is just ridiculous, and blatant false advertising in my opinion. It took three of my dogs (a 5 year-old Boxer/Pit Bull mix (2nd pic) I'm fostering and two one year old border collie puppies) all of five minutes to completely shred FOUR of these toys straight out of the delivery box. I was the proud owner of four of these things for all of five frickin' minutes out of the box. Meanwhile, it previously took the Boxer/Pit almost two years to destroy two medium-sized Kong "snowman" shaped toys, and even then he wasn't able to shred them anywhere near to this degree. And believe me, he actually *IS* a true "power" chewer, as after raising and training dogs for over 50 years, I have never seen a dog completely break that type of Kong chew toy. As an aside, Kong (the company) appears to take crappy product claims only by means of printed hard copy sent via the U.S mail, so no immediate relief for your wasted expenditure on their products will soon be forthcoming. How many modern companies do you know of that don't allow some sort of online contact for product claims, even if it's just an email address? So I might very well have to reconsider whose products I am willing to spend my all-too hard earned money on. That said, those three dogs are all now outside throwing up chunks of these crappy toys that they swallowed while tearing them to pieces, and which I now find myself hoping really are non-toxic!! The regular "snowman" shaped Kong toys are MUCH more durable than these things are. Had I known that beforehand, I would have spent my money accordingly. The picture I posted is the last remaining toy out of the four I ordered, and I most certainly want my money back (wish me luck)!! This toy is a complete WASTE of your money for any dog that is bigger than an aged chihuahua or that actually has teeth, so I suggest that you DO NOT purchase.

Kong toys are Belgian Malinois tough
i have a Malinois and toys must be very durable for her. this one hangs from a bungee in my yard and continues to provide hours of fun. The red Kong frisbee is another great Kong toy.

This dog toy is probably one of the best dog toys that I have ever purchased! I have a 2-year-old 80 lb Mastiff mix who is super destructive and generally breaks most of his toys within a few days. He is a very powerful chewer and even the "durable" toys are no match for him. But this toy is fantastic! We've had it for about 3 months now and he plays with it daily and there is zero wear & tear showing on the toy. I was worried when it first arrived because it's WAY smaller than the picture makes it appear (the description says Medium/Large but it's pretty small) and I was worried that he would chew through it or even choke on it due to the size but somehow it's perfect. He can chew for hours on it and not even leave teeth marks on it. You can throw/roll it too and it bounces all over the place and makes for a fun game of fetch. I would not hesitate to purchase this again and recommend it to anyone who asked.

Es uno de los pocos juguetes que consiguen aguantar a mi perra. TambiƩn la usamos para untar alguna chucheria por la parte de dentro y que pueda estar entretenida un buen rato. 100% recomendado para perros que les gusten los juguetes de morder.
