perfect for stick blenders
My first stick blender came with a slightly wider and shorter plastic jar for blending. It works OK but it doesn't clean up well and has gotten stained from making chili pastes and curry pastes over the years. That stick blender finally burned out after 12 good years and I replaced it with another stick blender that is much stronger but didn't come with a blending container. Like I said I still have the original but I wanted something taller, narrower, and easier to clean. These malt blending cups are absolutely perfect and I wish I had found them years ago! They are so tall that I can whip a lot of cream without getting the hand blender and a big bowl dirty - love that. And they also work great for blending dry spices because the height of the container prevents a big cloud of spice blowing out. Some does still come out, but there isn't a big mess or a lot of loss. And these cups are PERFECT for making chili paste and curry paste. I know it's traditional to beat it in a mortar and pestle but it's not the olden times, there's no need to work that hard. And since these cups are metal they wash out easy and they don't stain. AND THEY CAN GO IN THE DISHWASHER! If you are looking for sturdy, tall, narrow cups to use with a stick blender: this is a great choice. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Good quality
I bought these to replace a plastic cup that had come with my mini food processor as I could not get it clean. These are much better for cleaning and are obviously very durable. Good size. I just wish they were flat on the inside as this makes cleaning a little more of a challenge. Otherwise perfect replacement!

Great for not frothing your kitchen...
These are as close to the classic stainless steel shake cups as you're going to find. They have a good heft to them, are rimmed, so the rim will be less inclined to crack over time. The walls are grooved to add rigidity and the bottom is doubled, so these should last a long time. I bought them for making my morning coffee, since I seem to have issues with operating a frother without frothing the entire kitchen. I picked up a pair of these and Voila! Problem solved. As for those folks who've mentioned how hard the stickers were to get off. Nah. Not so much. Here's how you do it: Fill a small bowl (deeper than the top of the side sticker) with HOT water. Then fill the stainless cup with hot water and place it in the bowl. Add dishwashing detergent to the bowl. Let bowl and cup sit quietly for a couple of hours. Pull the cup out, scrape the stickers with your thumbnail to remove the paper. Replace the hot water in bowl and cup and let it sit for a couple more hours. Do one last scrape with your thumbnail, then scour with a plastic scouring pad/Scotchbrite until the last of the residue is gone. Rinse and dry thoroughly, and DONE. You have to be smarter than the equipment you're operating... ;-) Highly recommended.

Blending Heaven
These containers are a Godsend. They work very well with the new All-Clad stick blender that has a longer wand to reach the bottom.

Not only stainless steel!!!!
This product is not just stainless steel, it also has other metals not mentioned in the description. That is why is has a P65 warning.

My order took just over 3 weeks to arrive from Australia (which was the estimated time given upon ordering) the arrived well packaged and undamaged. Tget appear to be solid, well made, smooth stainless steel. They both had 2 very sticky annoyingly hard to remove white labels on the bottom and the side. It was a P65 warning stating this product was made with cancer causing elements. It gave links to the Califonia P65 warning website. Looks like a legal requirement in California to add these warning labels. I was a bit stunned and had to do some fast googling to see if l should use these or not. As far as l can see the elements are what is in all stainless steel products so l am a bit confused. The product seems to be excellent, l think there is a very low level risk or exposure, however, the labels are not only very difficult to remove but also quite a shock to see.
