This was the exact thing I needed to make my own roller shades. They are good quality and work perfectly.

I had a rod purchased years ago that had not been used. These connectors fit the rod perfectly. The installation went without a flaw. What I really like is the smooth glide of the chain mechanism when raising & lowering the shade. The chain is shorter then others I have making it better for a kitchen window. Tops in quality & performance.

The design is different. The bead roller is attached to the shade tube not the wall. Both of the previous rollers that I had used a wall mounted bead roller and a plastic insert into the shade tube. The weak point is the small shaft that inserts into the shade tube plastic insert. The shaft on the last one snapped off. There is too much torque and weight applied to the small shaft.

These will not fit a one inch roller. Do not order unless your roller is at least 1-1/4 inches inside diameter. I am going to try to grind them down to fit my one inch roller.

Fit right in and rolled right up. Hopefully it holds up to the sun.

We made shades for my home. It was a strange size the ends don’t actually fit into a pvc tube. I had to use rubber bands to make it tight enough to work. If your fabric is too heavy it probably won’t hold. But it worked. They look nice, enough for now. Great budget solution!
