I love them, they have a nicer quality than others ...
Wouldn't be without these!!!! I love them, they have a nicer quality than others I've used and they stick well but can be removed and put back down without any issues. They keep my sewing in line better and I can move them often as to keep my sewing allowances. As a quilter most projects are 1/4" but in other sewing the allowance may be 1/3" or 5/8" and I can move the guide without issue and it resticks nicely and doens't move. There's a bit of a profile too that helps keep your sewing in line better. I used to use a piece of painters tape but found I was often still losing my line. This way with the little profile, it keeps your sewing in line better. I use a ruler when placing it on the bed of the machine as most have a little curve to them and are not exactly flat. It helps to be sure your sewing edge is perfectly aligned as they are bendable and will mold to the surface on which you place them. I can't tell you how many other people's machines I've fitted one of these to so they keep their seam allowances and their sewing has improved immensely! I keep several pkgs at all times for classes. They last a long time and are cleanable on the top surface so when you wipe your machine down when cleaning it they stay intact. No issues with getting tacky or torn.

Perfect scant 1/4” seam... finally!
Should have had these when I first started quilting a few years ago. No longer frustrated with stacking layers of masking tape or sticky note pads to create a seam guide on my sewing machine bed. The strips are removable, reusable, don’t leave a mark and help make those seams straight. Wonderful product.

Helpful Guide For Even Seams
I cut one in half and stacked them. It really helped me keep the 1/4 inch seam while making quilt tops.

It works
I have had such a difficult time achieving perfect 1/4 inch seams, but this has been the answer. I have bought many other specialty feet and used other methods but this is the one that works for me. I use it with a clear foot so I can see the fabric and watch as it moves along the vinyl tape. Love it. Plus I am using a Home Decor fabric to make hexagons so I double the height and it is working great with a heavier weight fabric.

It works
I have tried a variety of different tools to help maintain a perfect 1/4" seam this has worked the best for me. My machine is in a table and it is recessed so I have a flat work surface. there is a plexiglass filler that fits in around the machine to give a perfect surface. The problem with most guides for me is that they sit across the needle plate and onto the plexi. Every time I need to change the bobbin I have to take the plexi off to get to it which means I have to remove the guide. With this I use two strips one on the needle plate and one on the plexi so I can lift it off no problem. These strips can be re-positioned easily and don't leave any sticky residue. They are thick enough that the fabric rides along it. They do seem to collect a little lint and I don't think they will hold up forever but they are cheap enough and you get multiples in a pack so I will just replace them when they get tatty.

Reposition-able. Fabric glides over it if you opt for a wider seam.
I use this for that perfect seam width. Reposition-able to accommodate wider or narrower seams or if your machine feeds at a slight angle. This is not very thick, so after quilt piecing, you can just leave it on and still stitch diagonally across a square without hanging up on it! I actual bought an extra pack and use them as guides on my vintage Featherweights! 😃

Helps sew in a straight line.
Very helpful for someone who can't sew a straight line. Love that is easily repositionable, yet keeps it tackiness to re-stick over and over. Just wish it was raised slightly higher

Waste of money
I fail to see how this item is worth more than $2.50, including printing and packaging. It's literally five strips of thick purple plastic with adhesive backing. A stack of post-it notes will do the same thing. It adds insult to injury that the enclosed instructions say if you want a more durable, consistent method of sewing edge placement, you can spend an additional $10 on another cheap piece of plastic called a Corner Cut. It's just a plastic triangle with the corners trimmed off. Really? How about packaging the two items together and charging half the amount. I'll be returning this item.
