1 Piece Butyl sealant Tape 9.5mm Diameter x 13ft, Black Butyl sealant Rubber for Automotive Truck Headlight Window Door Windshield

Needs to warm it with a heat gun or a lighter and then it works perfectly. I used different types of double tapes in market for my car door insulation but still water was leaking in. This tape didn’t work at first when I directly applied it but ince I warmed it, then it worked great.

This product was great for the job at hand, very effective and easy to use. I had an issue where water was seeping into the vehicle and sitting at the footwell causing a horrible stench. This eradicated the issue as I was able to seal the door rubber with this product and since I have had no issues whatsoever with water coming into the vehicle.

Used to reseal an inner car door panel. On one hand it doesn't always stick in place - so it can fall away just at the wrong moment. On the other hand, if you misalign the panel when installing it will stick really stubbornly to just where you don't want it! I'd recommend using the paper tape that comes with the roll - stick that on the stuff until you've positioned the panel properly and then pull it away. Or maybe some masking tape. Anyway, once in place it works well. You can stretch it so to reduce the diameter of the butyl if you need it say 5mm rather than 9.5mm, It's quite malleable like that.

I brought this to use on my boat , after drilling any holes I put a small amount into the hole filling it up and then I screw whatever into it and then use another bit to remove any that comes out to make a smooth watertight seal

This stuff is amazing, made re-sealing headlights a complete doddle. Absolutely excellent! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for something to re-seal headlights after modification.
