How bad can they be, you might ask?
These things can’t be legal. As another reviewer stated, thin as a milk jug. Can be folded to a taco shape (but thinner than a taco). Excess plastic on outer edges very unsightly. As for how bad can they be? I asked myself that question before purchase. I was willing to accept a mediocre product for the price but this is beyond unacceptable.

Easy to use and look great after a couple of years in the sun
Easy to use blanking plates. Can be screwed in place, or glued along the narrow edge if that's what you need. I've had these outdoors covering up some old holes in the fascia where lights used to be, and after 2 years they still look as good as new. No yellowing, and they aren't brittle or damaged despite being in the sun.

Unsafe?
Too thin. I’m not sure this follows national code. Could be unsafe. Not much thicker than a plastic milk bottle. But it has the right shape, and I assume the holes are in the right place. Maybe it’s ok to cover 12 volt wiring.

flimsy
screws don't fit the outlet. Also the holes do not match-up with the holes in outlet.

These are a useful covers, but make sure you have some screws to hold them on.
These covers have some good points and bad points. On the good side they are thin and flexible. This allows them to let wires to pass out without major modifications to the cover. Also they can easily be cut with a good pair of scissors allowing them to fit in tight spaces. On the bad side they come with M4-0.5 screws (the description says M3-0.5 which would be even smaller) with a cone shaped neck witch doesn’t fit any standard US electrical fixture. The screw neck should be flat to increase the holding power with the thin cover. The cone shaped neck could easily be torqued right through the thin flexible covers. They might work on a plastic receptacle box but a standard US octagon box takes an 8-32 screw for a cover. So the M4’s are too small to work for a round plastic light box. The price point was good, but it could be even better if they skipped the screws.

Not Impressed!
I got these to cover electrical boxes in my ceiling where light fixtures had been removed. These were flimsy and that was the good thing. The screws provided did not fit my plastic electrical boxes. They were way too small. To top it off, the screws had silver heads. Not sure why anyone would order white covers if they didn't want the screws to match. I'll replace with a different brand.
