CheribundiTart Cherry Juice, 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 3)

I’m not a doctor or in the medical field of any sorts but I know myself unfortunately all too well. I’ve been diagnosed with S.A.D. and diurnal mood variation. Ultimately these are results of underlying depression. Well I’m a firm believer in meds but try to avoid them and when I can. One thing for sure that took some trial and error was feeling good after certain results that being after I would eat cherries the night before as a snack the next day I would wake up feeling better. There quite a few studies & experiences that have shown the effectiveness of cherries. Well being that it’s hard to find/get good cherries all year round. I tried this juice with much to the same success. I have a little glass of it every night before I go to bed. So my review is more for the quality of this as a substitution for the actual fruit than anything else.

I was quite pleased with the Tart Cherry juice. A recent sports research article I read included tart cherry juice among a wide variety of post-workout sports supplements that could speed muscle recovery and minimize DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness). Having just started Ben Booker's the Live To Fail program on dailyburn.com earlier in the week, I was eager for any solution that may prevent or minimize the excruciating muscle pain following the next week's workouts. I was quite pleased with the results.I chilled the juice when it arrived and immediately following the next workout I measured out approximately 8oz of the juice (1/4 of the bottle) and chugged it. I've always been a fan of cherry pie filling straight from the can. This tasted much the same without the added sugar syrup around the tart cherries. The results on my 2nd week of painful workouts was actually minimal pain and minimal DOMS. I can't say that this juice was the key but I've officially added it to my post-workout regime from here on out.

I really enjoyed this juice, the taste was good and I did notice a difference in just 2 and a half weeks. I had trigger thumb really bad and this juice helped go away. I was close to going aND getting a shot. ( but hated the thought of that ) I tell people about my results all the time and recommend this juice. One of my friends use it now and noticed a difference in her hands ( arthritis ) she says it has made a difference. I'm very proud to push this juice on anyone I hear complain about there piains. The thing I didn't like was I was jot able to continue to get it for the same price haha. But great product.

I can’t figure out why they decided to start adding sugar to this otherwise top notch product.

I see a few reviewers saying they add sweeteners to this, but I find it to be a bit too sweet for me and actually dilute it with water. I think the ingredients more than suit the price point($2.83 per 32 ounce bottle), but I also agree that the text on the label reading 'with reconstituted apple juice' should be white and not an easy to miss dark red against a black background. I'm glad the makers of this product went with apple juice over other options if they felt they had to add a sweetener. Love the cherry taste and will definitely buy again at this price.

I used to buy the quarts at COSTCO, 3 for $10.99. That was three years ago. I started ordering it by the case (6 quarts per case) direct from the company (cheribundi.com), but just found out that they discontinued the quarts! I am bummed, because 4 ounces of this juice with a 12 ounce can of sparkling water makes the BEST cherry soda you have ever had in your life! Once the quarts sell out, you will only be able to buy the concenterate or specialty sizes, so I would suggest getting this while you can. I just ordered 21 quarts!

I was glad to get a taste of this stuff before I subscribed to it. The word "tart" would scare a lot of people away, but it isn't really all that tart. Given what the health experts are now saying about the good effects of tart cherry juice, I would advise getting some. The cost is high, but not prohibitive, and the shipping was right on time. It's also OK diluted with water, ginger ale or another fruit juice. Try it first, though, before you subscribe for monthly delivery.

Really didn't think it would work on my arthritis. I have suffered with it for 72 years. Now my knee is normal. It takes awhile but it does work. I take it with flavored water. Makes a yummy drink.
