I guess this product may cause burning but for me it got rid of my very dry skin and makes my skin feel so soft. It works great for biting mites that burrow ( scabies, demoted) Double bonus.

This has helped me to beat mite infestations on my skin twice now. Permethrin hardly seems to do anything anymore, but the critters haven't gotten completely immune to this stuff yet. I mix it with diatomaceous earth and grapeseed oil and apply topically from head to toe two nights in a row and then a third a week later. Be careful not to get the concentration too high, this stuff can feel like it's burning if the mix is too strong. It doesn't really burn anything, but the feeling can be intensely unpleasant for an hour or two.

Advice from Mayo site re head lice says leave on 24 hours. My best result was to mix it in Palmers leave-in conditioner half and half and not wash out for 24 hours. I actually leave it it longer if possible (a girl has to shower sometime) and it not only killed most over time, it kept them from laying eggs. I will buy more to keep on hand as I am a total homebody, don’t know where my unwelcome visitors came from and they did not respond to OTC treatment. This was a repeat leave-in solution but it worked.

I bought this because it kills demodex mites. Dilute this down alot because it burns like hell!

I put this in abottle of ms meyers rose hand/ body soap. It didn't say exact measurements of the liquid. so I put 3 caps full in ahalf bottle of soap. I put it on a wash cloth & placed it on my face. I lost my breathe screaming ! IT BURNED SO BAD, I KEPT RINSING MY FACE WITHOUT RELIEF. I GAVE IT BACK TO MY DAUGHTER & SCREAMED DO NOT USE IT, THROW IT AWAY! IT SCALDED MY FACE! IT FELT LIKE A BURN. I PUT BURN RELIEF OINTMENT ON MY FACE, TILL THE BURNING STOPPED! IF YOU BUY THIS, BUYER BE WARE!

This product is great mixed with coconut oil. I apply it on exposed areas on my mare (tummy, teats, etc) and it helps keep the itchies to a minimum.
