The Cenvel Cardamom is a 10 out of 10 product in my opinion. When i oppened the packet the whole kitchen filled up with the very strong fresh aroma. I bought this so that i can add it to the Organic Sriluxe Green Tea that i drink regularly and it greatly enhanced the taste. You never know what you are going to get with spices online as you can't see before you buy, but I will like to buy from Cenvel originals again. Its fresh beautiful fragrance felt soon after I opened pack. I judt have to use a few in my sweets and stuff to get the flavour. Its a good product for the price. Would recommend it

Amazing spice for adding to food but these are whole cardamom pods so you'll need to do some prep depending on what you want to do with it. Since its in pod form is very fresh. If making a rice dish or curry you can use the whole pod by simply breaking the pod slightly to allow for the flavours to release. This is perfect in biriani dishes in particular.If you prefer something smoother you can also remove the cardamom seeds from each pod and create a powdered spice. You can use a pestle and mortar or I like to use a coffee grinder because it's easier though be warned the aroma from the spices will set into the machine so you may want a separate machine just for spices. This is perfect in desserts like cake or rice pudding!It's decent value she you get a lot in here. You don't need very much since cardamom should enhance flavour but not be at the forefront so I feel this bag will last a while. Though it entirely depends on how you plan to use it. From experience, using spices in cakes you will need a touch more because I find the baking process gets rid of some of that flavour.

Premium quality but is it organic? This question just came to my mind as recently I've been reviewing proper organic cardamom. If it's not mentioned in the description then probably its not organic.. That's why we get as twice more for the same price as organic cardamom...I love cardamom and use it often especially when brewing my tea. Cardamom adds plenty of delicious flavour and aroma to basic black tea. Drinking tea with cardamom is a pleasure to my senses.The pods are big, fresh and very aromatic. Cardamom pods came nicely packed and well presented. Just wished they were organic too so I would know that it's healthy stuff.

I use a lot of cardamom in my baking as I had a friend showing me how to make cardamom buns as well as cinnamon buns. Cardamom buns are SO much taster and the quality of this cardamom has been absolutely fantastic.After having bought cardamom from various supermarkets in the past, I will never do that again. The taste you get from these are on another level.Love it.
