Fits and holds a longer charge

I have had this replacement battery less than 4 months. I have only had to charge it once. But now it is showing as a defective battery and will not charge at all.

It was just what I needed worked great.

My vac came with the standard 4AH battery. Doing the carpets upstairs and the bathroom floor seems to take about 75% of the charge but not quite run it out. This 6.5AH battery works with the Hoover charger no problem and seems to do the same amount of cleaning and still have about 50% charge. So that's good. Now I have two batteries that I can swap as needed and keep one on the charger. I was hoping that when I bought the Hoover vac it would come with the Mother's Day promotion of two batteries, but no such luck.

Works

I purchased this battery to replace a Hoover one battery, which was much higher priced. I have been pleased with it so far.

This battery worked well when I received it, and for a few uses. Now (three weeks past the return window) it will only charge to 1 out of 4 indicators and runs my vacuum for less than 5 minutes.This has not seen heavy use, maybe 10 charge cycles and I always let it cool down before putting it on charge.Terrible product, useless after less than two months.
