This is an excellent resource for anyone going through difficult times and trying to learn from the past and heal from traumas. The author covers topics like acceptance, awareness, emotions, self-love, self-esteem, etc., explains them in detail, and offers solutions to common problems. For example, in the chapter covering emotions, the author describes how we experience emotions, why it is difficult to control them, and offers solutions to manage them. Another tip I picked up was to avoid using negative language, so instead of saying "I'm not afraid", say "I am brave", which makes total sense. I learned a lot and would highly recommend this book!

I love this book! If you have suffered any traumas in your life, or even if you want to live a more enjoyable life! Feeling happy, light and optimistic I highly recommend this book!

Great book to uplift mood
Easy to read and educational in times of distress. I love the fact that the book has highlighted the impact of negativity on our health and also made suggestion to overcome it. Must read.

A very easy read for a most sensitive subject
Lara explains very delicate issues in detail with solutions that can be readily applied. Contemporary emotions such as self-love, self-esteem, acceptance, and awareness need plenty of assistance these days.

Great book, enlightening and honest
I really enjoyed this book. It was raw and open but at the same time very relatable. I’ve taken some key things away to try in my own life.

Good book
I normally wouldn't write a review to a book but this was very powerful for what I'm going through now and my whole life. It isn't going to be easy but I do want to take the steps to rewire my mindframe to start looking at things in a possitive way than negatively, it sure hasn't worked for me so far with my current thought process. I just turned 58 and I would like to live some part of my life in a happy environment instead of always looking at the glass half full. It is going to take some work but well worth it to finally feel content in life.

Lo consiglio vivamente. Ho iniziato a leggerlo e non mi sono fermato fino a quando non l' ho finito. Suggerisce una via da percorrere nei momenti di difficoltà e gli strumenti per affrontarli in modo chiaro e molto efficace. È di facile lettura anche per chi non è di madrelingua inglese. Super consigliato !

Bueatifully written
I love it if I can find a book that helps me be a stronger person. Life is full of ups and downs, and Lara has given sound advice on how to work through the rough times. Today when I had some negative thoughts spinning in my head, the first question I asked myself, was "what is right about this situation that I'm not getting?". Just that one sentence alone, is a great takeaway from this book.

It's helped REMIND me to Let Go!
This is a reminder for me to let go of things out of my control & let go of the worry that has consumed me to the point of sickness. NO MORE! I've highlighted some passages as if I were back in Catholic school religion class.
