I'm amazed at the lack of quality control for a product ...
I'm amazed at the lack of quality control for a product that costs over $500.- Loud cracking sound when turned on. Unplugged and sound continued for a while. Worried this is a fire hazard.- Random pixels flashing around the screen in black areas of the screen. Difficult to notice this during games but frustrating and distracting when working on the windows desktop.- The worst is the screen will not turn back on after the computer sleeps. Have to unplug the screen, restart the PC (plug in another screen to do this and avoid using power button and losing work) and hope the monitor will turn back on, often it does not and continues to say no signal, even after unplugging the PC and Monitor from power. To ensure it's not my GPU, I've tested this monitor on multiple PC's and with different cables and have the exact same issues. From reading the reviews, other customers seem to have the same issues I've had.Overall quality of this screen is low and I'm concerned that even if it did work as expected, it will more than likely stop working after the 12 month warranty is up.No doubt Viotek will post their generic response about their "highly rated" monitor to this review but I'll be returning this product and definitely will not buy another Viotek product.

I'll give this monitor a 5 for what it is.
I was debating whether to purchase this monitor because of negative reviews. But the monitor was within my budget so I wanted to give it a try. The first night I hooked up the monitor to the computer, there were flickering on the top screen -two seconds interval. When I activate freesync on the monitor and AMD Catalyst it eliminated the flickering.Pro: Ultra wide, minimal contrast shift for VA panel, huge real estate for multi-task, texts and images are crisp, 100hz, and gaming ( I didn't notice any ghosting while playing BF1)Con: no height adjustment (only tilt).Overall: It's a decent priced monitor (529) for gaming, and casual video and photo editing. The monitor is huge, covered half of my desk. I thought I was going to dislike the monitor because it's a VA panel. After using about seven hours, I'm not regretting on replacing my Dell IPS monitor. Yes, Dell IPS display has accurate colors and no contrast shifting. But this monitor is still great even though it has minimal contrast shifting. All the reviews that I had read about crackles and pops when the screen is turned off, I don't have that issue so far (crossing my fingers).

Slight haze from anti glare finish
Good display, simple, elegant stand, a good solid stiff frame, and a good clean design. Now for the display panel, it's good but not great. I'd say it has 85% the color reproduction capability of a nice macbook with an IPS display, which doesn't sound that good, but the colors are vivid with lots of contrast and saturated accurately once properly calibrated. The only thing, and sadly I had to return it because I can't live with it, is the matte finish is just too grainy for me. I'm staring through a rainbow micro dotted haze to see the picture beneath. If you know what that's like and you look for monitors without that strange visual effect, look elsewhere. If you don't know what I'm talking about you probably don't care and you should get this monitor. Also the speaker in this thing is hilarious. It sounds like a freaking speak and spin. Or a telephone from the 50's. Or an earbud run through an amplifier. But that's ok, nobody is buying monitors for the quality of thier built in speaker.

Good Screen, Stuck with Terrible Stand
I like the screen and features. I did hear the crackling that other users mentioned, but it stopped after a few minutes. Just warming up, I guess. However, the deal-breaker is the stand and mounting bracket. I need a monitor that I can mount on a monitor arm because I need the height adjustment (sitting and standing at a power desk), and I can't have my desk surface consumed by the stand. This monitor has some proprietary thing on the back, not a VESA mount. So I would be eternally stuck with this awful stand that has quite a large footprint and cannot be adjusted vertically. It can be tilted, but the tension is far too tight. I'm returning it. If not for that stand and non-standard mount, I would have kept it and given it 5 stars.

Popping noises?
This was the best 100hz 2k ultrawide 34" monitor in terms of bang for your buck. I got the matte black one and it looks so much better than the white one. Apparently this was shipped to others with only an HDMI cable and no display port cable, BUT they actually sent me one which is nice.Pros:- 2k ultrawide- 100hz- PriceCons:- A couple of dead pixels, fortunately in the corner- a bit of ghosting- there's fairly loud "popping" noises after use. After I've been gaming for a while and turn off for the day (or I start it back up after it's been off for a while), I keep hearing noises from the monitor. It sounds like plastic twisting or maybe adhesives giving out? These noises go on every ~1-10 seconds for 1+ hours. I've been hearing these for a few days now and it's really annoying.

Model: GN34C Beautiful Monitor. Returning because I can't get past Ghosting/Pixel Response Time.
Ok, first off. This thing is beautiful and I am coming from a 144Hz 1080p G-Sync Monitor (BenQ XL2420G). Mine arrived in perfect condition and with a DisplayPort Cable instead of an HDMI - a win in my books. Watching movie trailers, youtube or Netflix on this thing is awesome. I did calibrate it out of the box, so I did not test the colors before I did that. With calibration, it looked very nice, though. I played some Rocket League and Witcher 3 on this, and it worked perfectly. Then the Call Of Duty WW2 Beta came out. It still looked beautiful and all, but when I looked around, it was very blurry. Nothing was in focus. Same with Battlefield 1 and 4. The motion blur and ghosting almost made me sick. I tried with Overdrive on and off but it made no difference. The reason I still gave it 4 stars is because of this; this issue I was having wasn't necessarily because it was this specific monitor. It uses a VA panel which has awesome contrast, but the pixel response time it dreadful compared to my old TN panel. And honestly, for playing games, I would rather have worse color reproduction and smoother gameplay than vice-versa. For someone who doesn't play COD or Battlefield or CSGO and just wants it for its capability of making games like Witcher 3 look wonderful, I say go for it. But if like me, you play shooters and high paced games, I would say go for a TN (or maybe IPS) panel at 144hz or 240hz for that matter. I am returning this monitor and paying a little bit extra and am going to invest in a 240hz 1080p TN panel because I value smoothness of gameplay.

I just received this beautiful monitor and there is absolutely no problem
I just received this beautiful monitor and there is absolutely no problem. The whole set-up process took me less than few minutes. It is unfortunate for those who experienced an issue, but remember Amazon provides you a return option so I don't see any reason to give VIOTEK any rating below a 3 star. For $799, this is a great deal compare to all those other monitors out there. I feel obligated to write this feedback for VIOTEK as they deserve a higher rating for providing a quality product at a reasonable price. Thank you !

I was happy to see that Viotek has now included DP cable
Some people had previously talked about not receiving a Displayport cable so they could not run the monitor at proper resolution/refresh rate. I was happy to see that Viotek has now included said cable instead of HDMI, so that is no longer an issue. This display surprised me, the quality is impressive for the price, color is not spot on but after a little bit of tinkering in Windows you can setup a really nice workable color profile. For any third person game, this monitor rocks and for FPS I like to run in a 1080p Windowed mode so that I don't have to turn my head to spot out my corners. I replaced two 27" 16:9 monitors with this 34" and I haven't noticed not having the second screen, it's so easy to split the screen up with Windows and still have usable sizing. You can also hard split the screen up in the settings, although the aspect ratio will throw you off a little, I haven't played with PIP yet, but I may do that for some of my single board computers. All in all, this screen has been solid so far, no dead pixels, menu is already setup in English and straightforward to navigate. Can't go wrong with the resolution the quality and the price. And I'm so glad they went with a black bezel instead of the chrome that I saw some reviewers showing.
