This particular spin feeder control unit comes with the ASF Digital Timer.

Q: How wide is it from outside to outside of the mounting brackets?

Not sure but it's a little wider than a six volt so if your replacing one you will have to drill new hole but it's worth it

Q: Does the box have the port on the side to run a solar panel with the flexible conduit through it?

Yes. Use metal flex the squirrels keep eating my wires. Ugh.
