These arrestor did a great job and they are very easy to place. Every time I used my washer it sounds like it was banned several times and after reading on Google, I found out that it was a problem with getting air in my water pipes leading to the washer. We attached these and we've had no trouble since.

After getting a new washing machine, we were getting water hammer in our pipes. Thought the pipes were going to pop out of the walls. Plumbers, appliance techs, etc. kept pointing fingers at each other. This was recommended to me by a relative. Problem solved immediately. So simple. So smart.

Works exactly as advertised, silences the water hammer even better than I hoped! Completely eliminated it! Good heavy quality parts, fits standard washers with no problems.

Didn’t completely solve the problem, but it no longer sounds like someone is being murdered in the garage when I start the laundry.

My sound coming from the laundry room when my washer switched cycles sounded like the Kool aid man was about to bust through my wall. Not any more!! These were super easy to install, no leaks and the hammering sound is almost completely gone. I wish I knew about these sooner.

We purchased these for a washer/dryer combo machine and installed them directly on the back of the unit. We've had them for two months now and they seem to be holding up. When our machine switches from washing to drying it does a condenser clean cycle that pulses the water on and off. Before, it was hammering our water pipes; causing a loud banging that could be heard throughout the house that rattled the pipes/hoses. Now, it is nearly silent and the flexible attachment hoses still move but only slightly and gently.

Very easy to install and it reduced the water hammering noise from our washing machine which was very load and now is just a faint knocking sound. The quality looks good and only time will tell how long it will last.

They seem to be of good quality materials. I installed this on an outside faucet that had a water timer on it and when it shut off it would rattle the pipes. It helped a little but did not cure the issue. Probably needs a bigger dampener. Don't think these little dampeners are enough to make any difference.

Easy to install Do the job perfectly

I've used this for 2 seasons now and it has eliminated the pipes banging when my sprinkler timer would shut off. Without this, the pipes would bang so loud it would wake the entire household. Now, the taps shut off and you don't even notice! I hope it lasts for a long time.

They have the wrong thread for Australian use, don't buy these.
