I bought this humidifier over 5 years ago and it is going strong. Just take care to clean it about once a week with vinegar and rinse and flip the filter daily (and replace it when it gets crusty - but it lasts a long time before that happens) and it will work very well. I keep it running close to 24 hours a day, often on high, but switch to medium or low for very quiet operation. It is apparently rated for use in a room up to 400 square feet, but it does a great job in my 700 square foot apartment, all throughout the very dry Ontario winters. It raises the humidity from 20-25% to 35-45% which makes a significant difference. Helps alleviate dry skin, eyes and nose. I keep it on a little rolling metal cart from IKEA, which makes it very easy to move around. Very highly recommended!

Before this, we used an ultrasonic humidifier, which was certainly quieter but didn’t perform as well as this one, so it was a great upgrade for us. Noise: at its second speed, it sounds like an average house AC and does not interrupt sleep. Humidity: we have a 12×11 room, and it humidifies the space very effectively—you can feel the difference without needing a humidity meter. Ease of use: as simple as it gets. Cleaning: much easier than our ultrasonic humidifiers, which had many small spaces that were hard to clean. Cleaning this unit is very simple, though you should remember to flip the filter every night and replace it every month or two. Overall, it’s better than other humidifiers we’ve tried, and I definitely recommend it for small to medium rooms.

Honeywell warranty not available in India on humidfier. The seller is a real fraud, i dont think the items imported are used ones... The humidifer stoped working within 5-6 nights only... seller took it from me for refund, its been more than 20 days and no call/reund from seller... its really disheartening, after buying the premium product i have to face such an experience.... The seller is a real fraud... pls dont buy... its a clear recommnedation from my experience. Otherwise, be ready for such an experience. Choice is yours because the money is yours.. Anyways the filter turned yellow within 2 days of use (that too after i used only mineral water).

This is an excellent machine. Easy to put together, easy to use - holds a large amount of water so it doesn't have to be filled every evening. Works for our large master bedroom and has significantly cut down on the coughing (our floor heaters really dry out the room in the winter.) The filters and UV protection are great - filters are easy to change (although we haven't had to do that yet). I would absolutely buy this again - no white dust residue!

This is a fantastic humidifier. It is very easy to clean as long as you use common sense and check it every couple of weeks. The wick does require descaling if you want to use it for more than two weeks and any kind of descaling agent will do. I generally replace my wicks after 4 weeks of use. If you have hard water, you might have to do it more often, just be prepared. Noise is minimal as it is simply a fan running it, and I find on the medium setting I am getting good humidification without too much noise. Because it is an evaporation humidifier, there is no white dust settling from its use. Absolutely no issues with mould forming, most likely because I leave it running all the time and there is no standing water.
