Remote Key Fob Replacement Fits for GMC Terrain 2010-2020 2021 Chevy Equinox ...

I bought this set of key fobs to replace my son's factory fobs. This fog is complete with key/fob. Note: this key fob is NOT programmed. I did the work myself to save that extra expense of having to take it to the dealership and pay to have them program it for me. New key has to be cut as well which is an extra expense. So instead I swapped out the keys to save money on that extra expense. I Transfered the original key to the new fob. Then I programed the fob myself instead of paying the dealership to program it for me. Saved money again. You have to run a 3-10 minute cyle to program/sync. (I used a stop watch to time myself on the cyles). It will take a total of 30 minutes per key fob to program to complete the sync programming. In my personal experience It was very easy to program and swap out the keys. It's been over a month using the new key fobs and NO issues. Works good. Recommend!

Worked great for the key swap and feels sturdy. Programmed to the car and cost way less than a dealership reprogram. You can look ip online the different ways to reprogram a fob.

It worked for a few months, but now the transponder doesn't work so the car won't start. The fob portion functions intermittently but works for the most part. I'll be trying a different brand when the 2nd key inevitably fails too. Update: took apart the remote and the solder joint for the immobilizer chip broke, so i resoldered the joint and glued it in place and the remote is working again. Just a sign of poor quality.

They worked well. Unfortunately, on one of them, the key doesn't like to pop up very well.

I have put off going to the dealer for a new key fob for a while now because it was going to be $200+. I normally only like name brand things for my vehicle but I gave this a shot. I hate not having the Chevy logo on the back of the key but oh well. I changed out the key to the new fob by taking the pin out. Doing this meant I didn’t have to go and have the new keys cut. To program, insert old key into ignition and turn it one click to make the electrical circuits come on, then turn it off and remove key. Then insert new key and turn just to let the electrical circuits come on. Turn off and remove key. Then I hit the lock and unlock buttons to check and see if they worked. Insert new key again and start vehicle. Should be good to go! No problems so far! Definitely recommend.

Both fobs only laster 2 months. The first one The lock button Icon broke out of the fob and the second one quit working.
