Definitely peppery in taste. Gets more than oily than I would've ever expected. The color of the kava is a darker hue than what I've ever seen from past kavas I've had (All Vanuatu-based), which made me oddly excited. It has a slightly slower on-set compared to everything else which hits me like a van, but this one hits me like an 18-wheeler once it's been about 5 minutes after taking the first shell! I genuinely cannot walk around without stumbling after 3 shells worth of this stuff—that's if I even care to have anymore after 2 shells which is definitely more than satisfying for me.Feels absolutely great. It's definitely more on the heavier side, but there's a lot of heady action going on too. Overall, it's well-rounded, at least to my liking.Quick shipping & delivery and the most affordable Vanuatu-based batch of kava I've ever had. The convenience of this product is absolutely unmatched.This ECLIPSES Bula Kava House's Nambawan strain, which is their strongest kava by far. It also goes completely over where Nakamal @ Home's Stone Kava would lay at for me. Any strain I've ever had, Fiji Vanua Kava's "Kava Vanuatu" strain just knocks it out of the water in more than ways one.The taste, albeit awful, is more bearable than anything else I've had so far, which is strange, but definitely welcoming.In terms of pain relief, I literally cannot feel a thing nor care about it while off it. It's effective for just about any use I can think of.The sizing (for me was the 1lb/1000g batch) is definitely perfect, especially for it's pricing. I'm a big-time kava drinker, so this would last me a good month and some change before I decide to get the next batch.Overall, this is the best product you could ever get if you're looking for a super-strong, yet affordable & convenient kava. It really can't get better than this! I'm on my second ever batch of this stuff, and I believe that I would stay a consistent customer for many months—or even years to come!// EDIT - 3/27/2025:The taste is definitely still awful and plugging my nose while drinking has slowly begun to fade in effectiveness over the course of time of me abusing this method to consume kava. So, against my own will in a way, I've started to grow used to the taste and the OVERTLY LETHAL aftertaste so now it isn't that bad anymore. Despite this, however, it still makes me fold up off the memory of how garbage this tastes, so that's a win for kava-related PTSD. Just ordered my 4th bag!No joke on the nose-plug method though. I have no idea how my body did that, but now I taste absolutely anything even with a plugged or stuffed nose. It does not matter the kava will win outright Jesus Christ

The bad: Notably more bitter and earthy than other Kava powders out there. It's also more fibrous and not as micronized. It is more difficult to incorporate into drinks.The good: Definitely potent. Immediate numbness on the tongue and the throat. Great balance between body and mind relaxation. This is probably the best Kava I've had. I would not recommend this product if you're new to Kava but once you've gotten used to the taste of more subtle kava products (try Noble for instance), try this for sure!

Product is good value for the money. I’ve had stronger kava, but that’s for special occasions and sometimes the money tree just doesn’t support that. Certainly have to make a stronger ratio but it’s a fine balance. Just enough and feeling relaxed. Too much and ya feel sleepy but sometimes a little dizzy. Certainly make sure to take on empty stomach to get most bang for your buck. Another plus given that it’s on Amazon.

Quit alcohol using kava years ago, have been sober for a while. Tried many other brands in the past and eventually stopped using it after buying some very weak brands. I Decided to return to kava for some holiday celebrations. Blown away by the potency of this kava. I blend the powder with water in a blender before straining and kneading. Then just a few cups of coconut milk and this is about as good as it gets. Better than the kava bars!!!- strong numbing sensation of the mouth-rich but not overbearing flavor-strong heavy buzzBula!!

I’ve ordered this a few times now, and it’s been kind of hit or miss. Some batches have been solid, others not so much. It’s not something I reach for regularly, but the shipping is quick, so it’s a decent backup when I need something fast. Just not my top pick overall.

First off, I ordered this after doing a careful search of instant kava and got what seemed more like a bag of stinky twigs, dust and lawn shavings. So, I went by the instructions, watched videos, did further research and no matter how I prepared the unmagical elixir, it tasted like old tuna mixed with dirt and had no effects other than nausea. To The makers of said product.. There is a growing number of people who live in pain (physical & mental) looking to get out from underneath the big pharma umbrella only to be had by people who sell bags of tuna dirt. That was a good chunk of change you now have.. Yahtzee! you made a buck! Good for you!

A few shells of this kava after work is bliss, it has been the only thing besides benzos to help with my panic attacks. I love this stuff. Kicks in pretty fastThis is a heavy strain and it's the best I've tried on amazon so farI highly recommend this strain to anyone struggling with anxiety, tense muscles, issues with sleeping, or if you're just trying to chill out and relax.It does have a strong peppery taste but it's not impossible to get down especially if you add ice.Keep in mind kava has a reverse tolerance, new people may not feel it. That wasn't the case for me though...Also the way wash the kava is crucial.My biggest tips to new kava users are to not use hot water, take your time kneading, add a fat source to your water like soy milk, and when you think it's ready run the kava through a clean strainer because the powder is very fine and quite a bit gets through while kneading. Also always drink on an empty stomach
