Works well - well designed for purpose
This unit is just as advertised - and works very well. Very minor assembly, super easy. No tools required. Its compact, and much quieter than any indoor R2D2 style air condition. There is an on/off switch, and no other controls like thermostats etc. Perfect for its purpose. This sits on a porch, and blows nice cool air into the house. We have it powered via a Smart plug so that it can be turned off and on remotely. As long as it lasts a few good years, this will have been a GREAT purchase.

Spot cooler
This unit works great in my small garage shop. Normally I can’t work in this shop in the summer heat, but I’m able to do it comfortably with this unit. I aim the blower at my upper body/head and works great. Blows nice cold air.

Did not even last a month
While we were at first interested in this product, it broke down twice within the first month of use (short windows each day) and could not be repaired.Despite being operated in the exact conditions specified by the supplier, troubleshooting did not resolve the problem, and it essentially became an expensive paperweight. The seller did not seem surprised nor interested in helping with troubleshooting or replacement components when asked about how to repair the item after the second failure. Extremely disappointing--I would advise others not to buy this product.

Area around unit gets very hot from exhaust
It does produce nice cold air but it’s countered by much hotter air through exhaust. “Spot cooling” is in a bedroom so there is no outside venting.

excellent spot cooler - worked well on 100+ degree day
This is a REAL air conditioner, not a "swamp cooler" - in Florida because of the high humidity you cannot use evaporative cooling. This machine is the real deal - it blows a focused stream of cool air where you need it - it makes sitting outside in the shade more than possible, it makes it a pleasure. It is surprisingly quiet - combined motor, compressor, and fan noise is more than quiet enough to listen to music, TV or books on tape. This unit has made it possible to be outside by the pool in 100 degree weather. Highly recommended.

Powerful and Cold
Worked as advertised. Great customer service! I recommend if you need refrigerated air for a small space. ~6 amp current.

Shouldn’t be used indoors
They don’t mention in the description that this unit puts out so much heat from the exhaust fan that it completely negates any cooling effect. It actually made my garage HOTTER. I can’t imagine using this inside a house. Sure it blows cold air, but it blows even more HOT air right into your space.

Awesome little machine.
Really like this little machine it cools off to 50° in the garage right now. We’ll see what it does when it gets 90 and 100°.
