Seriously awesome cutters. I work HVAC and lost my old ones. So I ordered these. Of course I ended up finding my old cutters but decided to give these a try anyway. Figured... who cares... $10. They are amazing. 3/4 I inch pvc cuts through In 2 clicks. Highly recommend!!Just an update. The cutters sent to me are not the sane puctures.pictures.. the ones sent to me were Husky brand

Not Sure if I Got a Dud or…?
Straight out of the package these weren’t ratcheting or releasing right. Also very tight and difficult to open. I lubricated them hoping that was the issue but didn’t help. Only got worse and after about 10 days I swapped back to my old dull Lennox cutters because they are much more tolerable. Not sure if I got a dud, most of the reviews are very positive.

Husky Brand
Same dimensions and appears to be the same mechanics, but it is a Husky pvc cutter not iWork as it is advertised.

Want to cut PVC pipe straight??? ---- Don't buy these.
iWork PVC Cutter 1-5/8" --I received these and immediately did a test cut. Not straight and I figured it was me. I tried about 15 more cuts and these are extremely tight to close even without pipe in them. The blade is visibly wonky and not sharp in any sense of the word. Use these for a day and your forearms will look like Popeyes. After I did my test cuts I wanted to see if the wonky cuts would cause problems and they do. When I put the cut piece of 3/4" pipe into a coupler, one side of the pipe was pushing a large amount of scraped up joint and I ended up with a 1/4" plastic and glue buger in the pipe right at the middle stop. That's not good. I tried this 3 times. Once on an elbow, once on a T-fitting and once on a fitting for a hose. Every single one of them was messed up. I have NEVER had this happen in the past. Just to make sure, I went and borrowed a pair from my neighbor and did the exact same test on the exact same piece of PVC and the same joints to see what happened. All of them were clean.Really not sure what's wrong with the blade, but it is going to cause issues that may not raise their ugly head until months later.iWorks -- you need to do better.

La pinza llegó atorada no se movía . No abría ni cerraba
La tijera llegó atorada no abre ni cierra no se puede usar. Cada día es más común en Amazon que envían cosas usadas y que no funcionan bien
