Good solid construction. I particularly like the sloped channels for the chips. I’m not installing it in a table, but put it into a case that I already had (that came with a BBQ set, of all things). As other reviews have noted, the sloped channels cause the entire unit to sit at a slope, when it’s just resting on a table. So I made a small platform, sized to the case interior dimensions, with a cutout to hold the tray in a level position. The entire platform & tray lifts easily out of the case, so it can be used on a tabletop, without the extra bulk of the carrying case. Next - the tray is apparently designed to hold 60 chips in each channel, or a total of 360. Since my chip set has 6 sets of 50 chips, or 300 chips total, I needed to shorten the channels to hold just 50 chips each. A pair of wooden blocks screwed to the tray serve as spacers to accomplish that. The final thing I had to do was make a wedge-shaped insert for the lid of the case, with the same approximate slope as the chip channels. This keeps the chips secure when carrying the case. I covered this wedge insert with the piece of foam that came with the tray. A final touch was the finishing of the platform and spacer blocks. I used black satin spray paint on the platform sides, but in order to better match the pebbled tray finish, I sprayed the platform top and the spacer blocks with a few coats of black plasti-dip. It was a couple hours of work total, and mostly used scrap wood, paint, etc that I already had. Kind of a fun engineering/construction project, and I’ve got a custom poker chip case that I’m really happy with.

Works as intended.

Its made of a hard plastic. And not all casino chips are made all the same width.

I like the tray however I'm going to need to build a box to set it in due to an uneven button
