I've used this backpack nearly every day for 5,000+ miles in the past 6 months. It has carried all sizes of helmet, steel plate samples for work, gear and more. The straps on the sides are perfectly placed and when you crank them down you can ride with this bag empty, even at high speeds. I will buy another if this one ever fails but so far I've only got one spot of stitching on the chest strap I need to fix soon-ish.Not waterproof, because you'll never close the zipper well enough. Just carry a plastic bag to put on top of stuff if it might rain. But I would say very water resistant.
